I am not sure how much impact the Maxim change has, it doesn't sound like the proper way to fix it, but will see.
Also, the cost change for Flak Emplacement is pointless, no one is going to use it when it is just constantly shooting on the ground instead of on the enemy. |
Never using the Flak Halftrack because first it is too vulnerable with its setup and desetup time and second it always shoots at the terrain instead of on the enemy soldiers, just like the Flak Emplacement that you get with the Fallschirmjäger commander. That and the general lack of fuel as OKW make it very unattractive to me.
If at all I would consider those Flak things for anti air. |
I am uploading the game mostly because of how well my Jagdpanzer and my Puma did in that game, which both reached Veterancy 5. I figure I could have paid a bit more attention to some of my infantry squads, but I was primarily concerned with their huge amount of tanks during the game.
The enemies were getting really angry in that game as well. |
Well, I guess the Flak Emplacement can shoot down planes and can shoot all around, but it fails against infantry so badly because it always keeps shooting the ground instead... the bunker is more reliable. It also doesn't cost fuel. So there you have two reasons why you might prefer the bunker. |
Depends. For a few games for sure, after that only you can judge if you enjoy the game further.
Me and my friends quit the game several months ago and short before WFA release we and some more people started to play again. Two of us, including me, enjoy it a lot, the other two are already extremely annoyed by the game's bugs and balance issues, the rest is probably still unsure. |
Soviets are probably the hardest faction to play, with Wehrmacht being the easiest.
They're very focused on cheese but they've always been much more difficult to get working.
What is more difficult about Soviets? People always throw such comments into the room but don't back it up with any facts. |
How annoying, they already nerf Panzer IV call in before most people even got to try them out to find out how good they even are |
Someone mentioned an idea somewhere else to just have a list of the factions and tick the ones you would like to play with. That would be the easiest and most flexible way.
Sounds good to me! I already voted on the poll to agree with the solution discussed in the first thread, but this is probably more user friendly. |
That works only if the ISU is on its own though. |
I know such things can always happen when there is a random luck factor in a game, but for my taste it happens a bit too often that dedicated anti tank weapons like Antitank Guns, Tank Destroyers like Jacksons or SU-85s or Bazookas kill infantry.
It happens lately a lot to me that I approach for example an American Anti Tank weapon and it kills half my Obersoldaten squad before they are even close with two consecutive hits.
Bazookas seem more accurate than Panzerschrecks to me against infantry, and Americans tend to have a lot of them and so it often happens that I lose more guys to their Bazookas in the initial firing than I lose to his actual rifles over the course of the fight. Often this forces instant retreats on my elite soldiers because they have only 4 guys in their squad; Volksgrenadiers and Panzerfüsiliers don't care as much about it.
Personally I would prefer if those kind of weapons for all factions were slightly less accurate against infantry, without nerfing them against vehicles that they should be good against. |
