Warthrone, weren't you the one who was all about not exaggerating or favoring one side when you started a couple weeks ago? Since then all I have seen are hyperbolic threads and posts favoring axis.
The Easy 8 is a fine tank, but one to one it runs in fear from an OKW Panther, as it should. Also, the 60% fuel is accounted for in the entire faction design, so it does not cost "effectively over 230 fuel" in a comparison with other factions. It is asymmetrical balance at work.

Well why don't you look from the oposite way? This is the only chance a PIV may have to destroy a su-85.
But oh, we were talking about Tigers here. So explain me how a slow turtle with a verry small speed boost can hope to efficiently flank or reach a Su-85? If you keep backing up, Tiger won't reach your su-85 not even with the mother of blitzkrieg, before it will take cover after the zis wall.
so how do soviets and usf deal with tank destroyers? or a wall of pak's ?

PwnMachine certainly has a point, vet1 biltz ability negates the only weakness the tigers have! Im actually suprised that this hasnt been brought up earlier. Needs to be looked at.

What about a gun upgrade for the sherman like coh1, but you lose the ability to change rounds ( AT rounds only) and comes with a decent cost? |
Troll Guide for the Wehr (DO NOT TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED):
Step 1: Buy the Tiger Ace doc (Skip this step if you already have the Tiger Ace doc)
Step 2: Remove all your other doctrines from your loadout. Equip Tiger Ace.
Step 3: Initiate search
Step 4: Now, you're at a crossroads here. If you've been matched up against an American, go to Step 10. If you're up against soviets, go to step 5.
Step 5(Sovs): Spam grens. Don't do anything except spam grens. It doesn't matter what the map is or what you read on the latest pro MLG guide to the Wehr, just spam grens. Lots and lots of Grens. You need at least 10 Grens or you're officially a pussy.
Step 6: Build a Medic Bunker some time after retreating your first few grens. Medic bunker significantly cuts the amount of MP you drain in the long run, especially with a gren spam.
Step 7: Rush T3. Don't ever, ever go for T4. Building T2 is a pretty solid choice if you want the PaKs but otherwise, PIVs work out fine.
Step 8: Get at least 1 PIV and maybe a stug.
Step 9: Pretend this is before Step 5 and pick the Tiger Ace doc. Abuse the stun grenades (Which cancel retreat on squads they hit!) and G43s for the ultimate troll spam. At 15 CP, pop the Tiger Ace and watch your opponent get #rekt.
Step 10('mericans): Spam Grens backed up by a single MG42 (Two MG42s if you're feeling trolly). Again, pick the Tiger Ace doc straight away for maximum trolling. Vet your first MG42 to Vet 3 straight away for maximum instapins. Get a medic bunker fairly early and spam as many G43s as possible. LMGs are indeed a better choice on more open maps though, so keep that in mind.
Step 11: Abuse stun grenade spam (Those things are cheap as hell) and G43s. MG42s completely shut down rifles if used properly. Get T2 once you have around 4 T1 units (3 grens and an MG) and build a PaK and a Scoutcar to deal with the Liet's tier. If your opponent has gone Captain, promptly call him a noob and pre-emptively gg cus he probably sucks. Fookin' scrubs.
Step 12: Get to T3 and spam PIVs. There isn't a medium tank in the game with better AT than the PIV so just get as many as you can. For maximum trolling, use veteran training to get your PIVs to Vet 2 straight away. This gives them the edge over Ez8s if your opponents gone for them and rapes regular Shermans even harder than PIVs already do.
Step 13: Even if you lose the early and mid game, it doesn't matter cus you got the Tiger Ace. Without any real non-doctrinal mines, a Tiger Ace with PIV support is more or less impossible to counter as the Americans in the hands of a competent player, especially if you're on an urban map where Jacksons can do nothing except watch helplessly from the sidelines as the Tiger ace butt rapes your infantry and medium tank core. Call GG WP preemptively as soon as the tiger ace is out.

Katitof my good sir, you have proven my point, after 5mins you have issues using any unit other than maxims or snipers, your words not mine. Clearly you have a fundamental issue with using the units at your disposal, please learn how to use these units before demanding relic buff them for your own gratification........
I and 99% of all Soviet players actually have no issues with any soviet stock inf unit, and certainly not with any call in inf unit/inf package, please understand the design of the Soviet faction, understand the call in inf style that they have and always have had.
Please do us all a favour and stop with this UP soviet inf/no scaling madness, regards

Aren't you supposed to beat him before TA? TA is fairly late at 15 CPs. By then, easy 8s and other fun things should tear him up. If he's still standing...you got outplayed mate.
It's true that he has plenty of units to make a complete faction even without the TA, but if he is making use of fuel for his elite troops, that means you can make use of fuel for things that kill said elite troops. Paks come out so send out a pack howie, WP arty, m8 scott, ect. Seriously I think rifle company is your best bet here.
You want to play strategically. Confine him to a nice, circular defensive position, probe it at multiple points, drop WP (or some other kind of arty) on the ATGs or any other unit of importance. Alternatively, he will creep back into a defensive circle, at which point you can just arty him to death.
Seriously just arty. Infantry company works well for this and mech company has good arty. You should have 2/3 of those companies anyway.
Not saying it's easy, but thats how you do it
yeah totally agree apart from a couple of points.
1.the fact that USF is a 20 min win or you lose is so shit, and personally think that this has to fixed. current meta as Ost and okW seems to a camp fest and just wait for the late game where usf will get rolled.
2. usf arty is SHIT, pack howi, gun carriage howi, mortar ht all under perform and call in art are expensive as hell.

I'm sorry honey but that won't happen honey because Tiger Ace is not as durable as the prepatch Tiger Ace and doesn't have insane damage like it used to. Tiger Ace is just a vet 3 tiger with TWP. 
yeah sadly I know this will never happen. I do feel like the tiger ace has only a small draw back for how good the unit is at the moment, its just a massive cherry on top of a well round and powerful faction. By the time the TA is available you can already have a couple of p4 with a strong unit composition.
