I bought vCoH on January 3rd, 2007.
Still missing the days of vCoH 1.71. It had it's issues, like paks sniping 57s, and the strafe didn't work, but overall, it was probably the most balanced time in CoH history.

OF ruined that. CoH 2 is....balanced in a nasty way. Everyone has an equal stockpile of gamebreaking bullshit. USA is full of early game BS while the OKW doesn't get its BS until late game. It's just a question of how badly you exploit the faction's shit and how quickly, after a patch, you discover the gaping holes of bullshit Relic leaves. But either way, it's all BS. The only "BS" in vCoH that was gamechanging was the fast m8 vs a bunker.

They will NOT cap the map whatsoever until you start exploring the map, by then you will have 9999 of every resource. I have had a couple of bulletins drop for the new factions but that's about it. I think you're better off just playing real matches. P.S. the current system sucks ass. The idea is to do it while you're afk or attending to other matters on the computer. Thread: We must force Relic's hand6 Jul 2014, 03:46 AM My recent post about exploiting War Spoils entails I believe the best way to force Relic to listen to us. If everyone is just milking the spoils system, they will be forced to cave and listen to us I believe. All you have to do is setup a 4v4 with 7 ai, balance the AI difficulties to make it an even fight (you're gonna be afk the whole time), and let them fight it out. If you press alt-enter, the game will go to windowed mode, which allows the game to run in the background without pausing. If your machine can handle it, I recommend doing this like 18 hours a day. Nonetheless, if they don't overdo it, which is obviously impossible, then they don't have to end up at a deadlock like Soviets and Ostheer being equal everywhere. They literally just have to not be retarded. It really is that simple. A large amount of tiny buffs and nerfs will go so much farther than trying what they're currently doing, which is buffing and nerfing 1 or 2 things to hell. In: Lobby

You'll be on opposite teams, making for an ai 3v3. For 12 hours, simply keep the battles going and rehost when necessary. After 12 hours, have him watch the games. It's that whoever balanced the game did a very very poor job of balancing it in a way that is fun As it is, USA early game is devastating. But their late game is completely lackluster. Vice versa for the OKW. That forces anyone who wants to win to: 1. Abuse OP units to the max because the USA can only win in the early game and the OKW can only win if it survives to the late game 2. Rely on bullshit to carry victory. USA must drive the flaktrack hard and kill off as many OKW units as possible and try to spawn lock them. The OKW must spam automatic weapons and artillery within a campfest that is reminiscent of the British. Relic should get it's head out of its ass and nerf the USA early game slightly, the OKW late game slightly, buff the USA late game slightly, and buff the OKW early game slightly. The game is way way too polar and it simply isn't fun, regardless if its balanced. In: Lobby

Have 3 enemy hard Soviet players 4. 1 enemy expert Soviet 5. Start the game 6. Press alt-enter to set the game in window mode 7. Enjoy your life 8. Come back in 30 minutes and start anew You'll have an elite but badly outnumbered OKW force fighting against a badly led but massive Soviet force. It'll be a cool, fair fight that earns you War Spoils while you do nothing. There's literally no reason not to do this all the time too. Before going to work, fire up a game! Maybe tweak the armies to have it last as long as possible. Bonus points for remote desktop Enjoy your War Spoils! In: Lobby

They take forever to move and get killed a lot because Im trying to micro units out of the line of fire and theyre extremely sluggish? Also, why do mgs have to setup every time they stop moving?
