JS-2 and ISU-152 in 3v3,4v4 is far more potent doctrine than any other soviet doctrine, the win rate in 3v3AT and 4v4AT as allied is just as high as the Aixs side, it's all about coordination and skill now. ppl should give JS-2 and ISU-152 a try in 3v3 4v4. |

I agree. JgPzIV is NOT FINE. One of the reasons people blob might be this unit. There are two major issues: Accuracy at max range and penetration. Although it scales very well and at higher vets becomes a killing machine, at 0-1 vet it underperforms specially against Soviets.
I think it needs a slight penetration buff to deal with Soviet heavies.
PS: Don't even think about talking and whining about Jackson and SU85. They have their own issues they need changes too. This thread is about JgPzIV.
I do think it should share the same Pen as a Panther(therefore a pen buff), right now it's too pricey and most people just wait to get a panther. |
Con's could be able to upgrade single DP-28(40~45 munition) after soviet build T3 or T4, inventing resources into expensive teching will limits the con-spam and call-in meta.
I think ppl keep asking for con's global upgrade for years, hope the new ballance team will actually make the game more diversity and fun. |

I'm not in favor of an HE/AP toggle for the IS-2. Personally I liked the high damage + slow reload that it had originally, though yeah, the RNG probably made too many people frustrated with it.
I do agree with the HE/AP for the ISU though. Given its range it was too mindless just to let it shoot and kill everything without requiring any real attention from the user.
The HE/AP toggle for the sherman makes sense because the toggle allows it to be empowered for its cost through this choice, a scrappy tank that can excel vs inf and support vs armor. The IS-2 is one of the big boys, though. It shouldn't have to worry about that. Just smash everything close and dont expose the rear.
By the way, anybody use the Jagdtiger after the changes? How does it play?
The JT get crew shock every time it got hit, I think this feature should be removed, hardly seen a useful JT even in large team game, consider how many ppl cry about nerfing OKW, not sure relic will remove this "crew-shock-after-been-hit" feature anytime soon. |
I made a thread once that DOW2 has no late-game tank spam abilities because, despite having MORE fuel (energy) and cheaper tanks (baneblade is 200 energy instead of 260 for KT, IG gets 52 energy per minute like anyone else), because if you wait 3 mins to get a baneblade out your opponent will bleed you down to 100 vps left

Limit heavies to one at filed, build-able after destroyed, bound them to techs. Problem solved, no need to add more complication in micro. |
It might be possible to code plane crashes so that once the plane is "destroyed" by a flak hit it keeps flying until out of bounds then crashes. That way crashes still exist but won't wreck your entire match because of bad RNG.
