Thread: Can We Return the KT Requirement?10 Jan 2016, 17:24 PM yes, BUT... it should still be a call-in (maybe get a little boost to compensate) The good thing about the "all trucks must live" requirement: It involves decision making: Should i place agressive trucks? But maybe loose kt access over it. Currently, it's silly how reckless truck placement can still result in a fielded kt. But maybe then it could use a slight boost to compensate (price or whatever) i could be wrong, though, it just seems logical to me In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: The balance in 33and 44 games-flanking is not really working3 Jan 2016, 13:26 PM On a sidenote: In teamgames, the okw advantage of resilient forward retreat points might also play into the calculation. Now, this is a bit off-topic, but I think the loss of careless and aggressive forward retreat point placement could be punished in that the king tiger would require all 3 trucks to be alive! Currently, a okw player only needs to have had each of the 3 trucks at one point to unlock the kt and can loose trucks in the process. I think that's a bit silly and might just aswell play into this calculation, as it might be easier to amass kts for okw teams. I am no expert, it's just a thought that seems rational to me. Thread: Poll: Should OKW Volks have their shrecks removed/modified?3 Jan 2016, 01:41 AM again, part of me wants to see MP40s on Volks (instead of Schreck) It's the same part that also wants to see non-doct PPsH41s on Cons (though it would arguably make the 2 units too similar then) an mp40 upgrade would be unique as a close-range SMG upgrade on a mainline infantry (other then PPsH41). It would finally represent the MP40 in a notable way. That adds ww2 immersion. Also, OKW has no MP40s so far. It has the retro factor from vCoH. why is there no "give ai upgrade" option in the poll yet?? In: COH2 Balance

It's quite noticeable. I don't like the idea of Panzerschrecks on Sturms, because it would make them very similar to Panzergrenadiers. And it doesn't really suit an engineering unit. An MP40 upgrade would be nice as there are absolutely no MP40s in the OKW. But the weapon was produced a lot. Of course, an upgradeable MP40 would have seperate stats. Such an upgrade would also be a nice nod to CoH 1 Volks. If they were to just loose the Panzerschreck without getting anything new, then I'd see their recent price increase to 250mp as unjustified. Lastly, if people hate a-moving Schrecks, the situation could be improved if Schrecks were made to be used more defensively. I imagine a longer initial aim time and maybe a decreased range could have such an effect. The whole mobility plus AT could be the main nuisance to many people here. In: COH2 Balance
