Have you tried running the repair in Steam?
Other than that check if you deleted/renamed some video files... I renamed some of them because they can get annoying and the game started crashing after that whenever it tried to play a video (worked fine in beta). |
I'm sure they have much more granular statistics they are balancing the because there were a lot of horrible players (even worse than me) and if their number is high enough they can make any tendencies on other skill levels just vanish.

After playing as this and against this a bit, I think that the strafing run needs to be changed and the Opel Blitz limited to 1.
How I'd change the strafing run: Decrease the cost to 75 or so and make it 1 pass only. That way it is a great counter for infantry by pinning or suppressing the infantry around the target area without flying all over the map and destroying stuff. |

I think it is too strong but by contrast, the other Ostheer commanders are too weak and too bland.
I really think the other commanders should be changed to make them more interesting when they change the lvl 45 commander. Simply nerfing this single doctrine simply won't do it. |
I hate those things. You basically have to farm that 4% dmg for grenadiers just to negate the 5% damage boost everyone gets for his conscripts from spamming Oorah!
They don't do all that much each for itself but they can very easily disrupt the balance, especially in early game when you have encounters like 2x Grenadiers + 1 pio vs. 2 conscripts + 1 engi... on low unit counts, missing other factors like vehicles etc. they can simply change the outcome of a simply battle just because you lost one infantryman 5% earlier and had to retreat because of it.
They are a horrible idea and I still don't understand why they would even think adding something like them was a good design decision.
If they want them as "achievements" and "progression", just make them shiny badges that don't change the game!
Additionally, how is it fair when I'm lvl 46 and running 2% accuracy, 5% health 4% damage when someone else can just run 5% health, 4% damage, 2% accuracy 3% health just because he played a lot and is lvl 80?
Or why should my enemy be handicapped early game if I use that 4% damage on Grenadiers I farmed? Is this some sort of MMO now?
It doesn't even add the variety it seemingly has. Just like in MMOs, everyone will be running the same ones anyways unless doing some gimmick strat like maxim spam or going for fast Panzergrens.
In theory there could be some signaling-based mindplay in this but in reality trying that is just a great way to weaken yourself. Either give away your strat or fight with units that are weaker than they could be. |
Meh, who cares? 80% is actually a very good score. Back in the 90s and early 2000s people still knew that on a scale of 100%, 80% is very good. Today, everyone seems to expect good games to have scores of 90%+ and sees everything below 85% as "bad".
Other reviews were around 90% though. Gotta watch Metacritic if you want an average but I think written reviews are often much more informative than just looking at some number. |
Yeah they need to reevaluate all munitions abilities. Overall, Russians don't have enough stuff to spend it on and the things they spend munitions on are very cheap. Most Ostheer munitions stuff is too expensive with a few exceptions. |
Um... the Panzerfaust and AT grenade change was in the patch from June 13th. I think it is just in these patch notes because of some copy&paste mishap.
They didn't nerf it anymore than it already was. |
