High quality tactical maps?

Does anyone know how I can get high(er) quality tactical maps? Atm I'm just messing around with them a bit but overall the ones I get through screenshots (running everything on max, 1920x1080) are pretty low quality that gets really visible once I edit them a bit.

Can you elaborate a bit more? Where do you want to use the tactical map and how you take it?

Its the way the tac map is rendered, its just low quality to begin with, from what i can tell

Can you elaborate a bit more? Where do you want to use the tactical map and how you take it?
I took it via screenshot in game and was planning to use it for GTactix
I made a CoH tactical map pack for that one at some point. I think it was then continued by someone else.

looks pretty cool, yea im not sure what would make the tac maps look better for this application, but not a bad idea

It might be worth the try to use corsix mod tools http://modstudio.corsix.org/ to get the mapfiles, then unpack the .sga's to get access to the raw .tga files.
It should work
E: I already had them unpacked and the .tga's are low res too. (768x768 for angoville for example)
