the lack of a snare or accurate atw make the 6 pdr a bit risky to use. british infantry probably have the worst anti-tank weapon in the game.
Agreed. Thats basically the only problem with the brits imo. Their lack of snare.

The JPIV can with the help of veterancy and heat shells. With PV mark vehicle is also easier
In 2 seconds?? I haven't played the WFAs for a while so i'm not sure if there have been any changes that im unaware of. |
the point is to gave the british a reliable tank destroyer that's not prohibitively expensive or risky to use.
With the churchill and comet being both expensive generalist tank, the Firefly should be a cheaper anti-tank support.
I see what you mean. Something spammable to counter enemy armor spam. Makes sense. I think its pretty safe to say brits have the least amount of AT options. That being said, the 6 pdr is arguably the best AT gun and the firefly is excellent vs heavies with the tulips. |
pure tank hunters like the firefly should be reasonable affordable, and 440mp 155 fuel is not affordable.
an affordable tank hunter give the faction a fallback unit against armor spam. The wehr have stug, us have jackson, soviet have the su76 and su85, and the okw have the jagdpanzer and puma.
an overly expensive specialized unit like the firefly are not really that useful.
even the jagdpanzer 4 is still within reasonable price range.
And all of these other tank hunters can 1 shot mediums in 2 seconds. |
Reasons why i think the landmattress is fine
1: at the moment is because it fires really slowly so it's easy to get out of it's area of effect before having heavy losses. EI: 1 rocket at a time at a slow rate of fire.
2: it's reload speed is fairly low
3: it really isn't all that mobile
4: and the cost is just right.
It may come out really early but when you see an early land mattress you know tanks are going to be delayed by a considerable amount.
The tank tech is delayed as much as it would getting a Mortar Halftrack --> 40 fuel.

Of course you're just reading unit description lol. That's what all simpletons do.
What makes you think it's supposed to 1v1 heavies? It doesn't say that anywhere and you're assuming it's supposed to. |
Id like to see the tulips damage go down to 200 so it doesn't kill mediums in 2 seconds. I still want it to seriously punish heavies though. With that should come a price decrease for the tulip ability.
Also wouldnt mind a ROF increase with a small price increase. |
PanzerGeneralForever you donut sound salty at all
L2P please, land mattress damage is fine
I haven't said a word about the land mattress m8 |
The Pershing is the only heavy tank in the game that can't shock crews with it's main gun lol; an obvious feature that was overlooked. Also, why is it "outstanding"? Because at vet3 it's good? You can say that about any heavy tank that hits vet3. The first 2 vets for a Pershing does jack shit. Vet 1 increases it's acceleration speed which translates to nothing in a tank fight. Vet 2 increases turret rotation speed and grenade throws which again, translate into nothing for tank fights. About every single heavy tank in this game gets vet bonuses that increases accuracy, range, HP, armor, or reload speed. The Pershing gets acceleration and grenades whoopiedoo.
If people wanted fast tanks that could flank, they would get the M10's. The Pershing's role as a heavy is supposed to head on other heavies, but does that mediocrely.
I didn't see this in its job description. That's for elephant and jagdtiger.
The m26 has
Speed
Powerful gun vs infantry and vehicles. |

Can't wait to see the whine about new 222 against Brits. Of course the natural reply will be "L2P" |
