you should not be able to setup a HMG if you are suppressed, that should stop maxims abusing this clearly un intentional mechanic, though a maxim that flanks a mg and setups before its gets supressed should be rewarded. |

you have to buy the upgrade for moloys, fausts are free.
Snipers do not suck, they are hard to counter soviets snipers but there quick rate of fire is good for killing elite infantry (I.E. there role) they might be cheaper but they are not better a P4 is only slightly more expensive than the 95 fuel t34 and it out classes the t34 in all respect except for the ram. which is useless when u only have 1 tank.
Soviets can not do everything, tech is very expensive, 40 fuel for t1, 50 fuel for t2 and 90 fuel for each of t3 and t4 it is very hard and almost pointless to get all tech buildings, which means if they go t1 then they wont be getting any HMG or AT guns, if they go t3 they wont have a hard counter to tanks.
The scout car is powerful yes BUT its perfect counter is the Faust which grens get for free!(not to activate it)
Soviets are good i do not dispute but they are not OP.

Except for the damage, vet 2 cons do no where near the same damage as Shocks, they just rip through everything atm, which they should at 480 mp.... |
if you have a con squad go up against a gren squad and the cons have 5% damage and 2 % accuracy and the grens have nothing, then the cons will win that engagement 9 out of 10 times.
The bulletins allow you slightly strengthen your favorite combos. |
instaly build t2, build 1 script, then spam 3 mg's, build a secound script. you know have a very heavy anti infantry force. which starts slow but really gives you controll. |

So let me state i am not quite sure what to do with this weapon upgrade, at 60 munis it is quite expensive, but then on the other hand it's damage output is quite insane.
The reason i have a problem with this weapon is just the sheer amount of damage it does, now i have heard people saying it is fine because you need to stand still, but most of the time you want to be still and in cover for the accuracy and defense bonus(though small as it is) so i see this a bit of a non issue. each burst kills at least 1 conscript, and its reload timer is not that high.
To try and put this into perspective for the ostheer fans, i picked one up with a vet 2 cons squad, i stoped in the open and went toe to toe with a vet 1 Pgren unit, the Pgrens had yellow cover, 1 burst droped one, secound burst dropped the secound one, a lucky headshot from a regular rifle killed the 3 and the LMG open up again and killed the 4th, all in about 6 to 7 second's worth of fighting. as i recall vet 2 cons get an accuracy bonus so that helped the LMG alot, but it just goes to shows the LMG just shreds infantry.
Now i belive myself to have an open and objective mind about balance even though i am a pure soviet player, so i would like to ask to community for its opinions about this weapon,
is it fair? to expensive, to cheap, how should it be changed?

Why do people think the scout car costs 80 20, it by itself does little damage, you need the engineers which makes its 320 mp, 20 fuel 60 munis. so the fact it wins vs 1 gren squad is perfectly acceptable, and btw 1 gren squad that stands and fights to last with both an rifle nade and panzer faust almost destroys it and leaves it easy pickings for a nearby squad.
Do not nerf the m3 it is needed to break out of heavy MG spam, BUT nerf the flame damage vs retreating units. |
I agree pounder, 4 man crews would not hurt anyone, if you have managed to flank the weapon team, killing 1 more guy is not gonna take you long. |
