U know. Can't we fix soldier collisions so that doesn't happen? Squad spacing stays the same but if soldiers couldn't stand inside each other that would atleast fix half the problem. This. It's ridiculous when 4 grens pile around the corner of a wall on top of each other only to all be nailed in the face by and M8 round which kills them all. This shit is top of the list of things I say is still happening when my friends ask how CoH2 all s doing now... In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: USF Suggestions29 Jul 2015, 00:21 AM I'm not sure I would change much. Would like to see ambulance only able to act as a med bunker and heal but not reinforce to be honest and Rear Echilons models to be able to be merged into other squads in order to keep cost effectiveness of rifles (and other support teams) from becoming unwieldy. I guess a risk of 'watering down' the combat effectiveness of units would be present if this tactic was overused thereby retaining some risk/reward but it could help open up some new build orders in the early game that don't just focus on churning out rifle after rifle after rifle without altering the factions overall design too heavily. What I would like to see is a handful of new U.S. Commanders that really utilise different Sherman types to make the faction more laterally robust a la the 'faction that bends but never breaks' concept. I think doctrinal upgrades to core tech Shermans, such as purchase able calliope racks, crab flails for mobile sweeping and crocodile variants could all be integral pieces of different commanders. With a mortar added to Core tech also this could really turn US into a versatile faction late-game. After all dem Rifles done been built! In: Lobby

Thread: Switch MG34 and Kübelwagen26 Jul 2015, 13:01 PM I've always found the Kubel to be a really clumsily designed unit. The moving firing arc just looks so clunky. I'd be OK with integrating the MG34 into OKW tech and replace the doctrinal version with the 42 version for extra suppression. In fact, if this was the case I'd remove the suppression ability from the Kubel and maybe give it the same gun performance as other scout cars, only its arc of fire is the front 180 degrees, meaning that awful firing arc doesn't need to be displayed at all. I'm no balance expert though, maybe this would be overkill.. In: Lobby
Thread: Remove demo charges20 Jul 2015, 17:30 PM I think the demo charge mechanic could definitely be expanded upon in some way. I love demos but from my point of view they are a little too easy to use. I'd like to see them tie up the engineer unit that builds them until they are fired. Some kind of mechanic where the Engis have to build an detonation wire (similar to how you have to build barbed wire) and then remain in a static state on the detonator until the demo is used would be nice. This would mean that engineers would at least have to be close by to detonate them. Fuck knows, but I'd definitely like to see more of a risk/reward tradeoff on this ability. In: COH2 Balance

You didn't just play one 3v3 last night you played two. I was in both. And you played terribly, so dont hate on 3v3/4v4s man, jeez. There's enough of that already In: COH2 Balance

Something that is well designed is only as strong as it's weakest individual parts. In my experience you can never nullify valid judgements on individual design solutions just because people are unaware of the larger context of what they are looking at. Quite the opposite in fact, judgements made in light of limited knowledge of the facts are the bread and butter of life. That's why it's called a judgement as opposed to say simply being a retrospective evaluation. In: Lobby
