Sorry to everyone who has already voted. I think barely anyone will doubt that the game has seen huge improvements over the last months regarding balance, most of this thanks to the continued support for the game by the balance team. I figured that it might be best for them to maybe have a "compendium" to refer to, one poll where everyone can vote about how they feel about the general balance in the game. Please do not turn this into a discussion thread because there will be absolutely no use. This thread basically covers all units in the game and discussions about that would turn into a complete mess. It's hard to make a poll with real information value while still keeping the big picture, but if you feel that these options should be exchanged let me know. Just vote about how you feel about the specific game aspect and write a short comment below if necessary. Discussions can be taken to specialized threads. It spear heads attacks vs fortified positions. PzIV will a much harder time dealing with Kv-1 and Churchill than 34/76,Sherman,Cromwell has to deal with Brumbar while in worse cost ratio. If one want to deal with a brumbar one can simply build a SU-85/M36 or a FF and snipe from the safety of 25 more range. So I do not really the problem in allied stock mediums being a soft counter to Brumbar. Alright, then we assume very different roles for the Brummbär. I see it as OSTs specialized anti infantry vehicle for the late game (as opposed to the AT specialized Panther), meant to burst down enemy key units (mostly AT gun or MG) in a few shots before withdrawing. I don't think that it's sturdy enough to keep fighting. The Brummbär has enough durability to frontally charge the enemy and get a couple of shots off, but that's it. KV-1 and Churchill are meant to soak damage and shield the real damage dealers in the backline while dealing damage more over time to infantry and medium tanks. I don't think that the comparison to a P4/KV-1 matchup is fair, since KV-1 is an allrounder. Brummbär is definetely an AI vehicle. In: COH2 Balance

Could you please rephrase it because I'm not sure what you mean. Also I don't see what P4, KV2 and Churchill have to do in this discussion since they are completely different units with different purpose. In: COH2 Balance

That is a bad argument. In a tank battle where it's sometimes just better to sit and exchange blows, a Brummbär should not be able to keep your medium moving and force reduced accuracy that way. But the more realistic scenario is that a Brummbär could engage snared mediums and pen with at least 2/3 chance. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Soviet T0 medic replace by Heal Aura？28 Sep 2019, 22:10 PM My honest opinion: I don't think the problem is big enough to change it and (potentially) introduce bugs. I think it mostly effects larger modes where mass retreats are more frequent. Aura would help SOV to get the units back on the field more quickly. In smaller modes not much would change. So in total, SOV would get a bit more map presence. Not sure if that's needed, because SOV seems pretty fine at the moment. But it's also hard to tell how much of a difference that would really make. SOV healing could get a little touch, but I think a second option similar to the OST half track would be best. In: COH2 Balance

But he means the UKF emplacement abiliity (green shield icon, weapons disabled for damage reduction) To the subject: I don't get why the Brummbär should have decent penetration. It's worth its price in AI capability, so why should it also have the chance to deal decent damage against mediums while it already has (according to someone posting earlier) deflection damage? This does not make a lot of sense. Against lights, sure, but a medium should not be threatened to be damaged by normal shots. However, I'd argue for high penetration for the bunker busting barrage because the Brummbär here behaves more like the AVRE/Sturmtiger. In: COH2 Balance
