It's pretty rare to see it the other way around even looking at higher level play.
I think this is because of the huge fuel costs of all the Allied side techs especially for the Western Allies. You're lucky if you can roll out a Sherman before a P4J or a Stug and a half.
Everything for the Allies costs fuel. 15 fuel for grenades, 15 fuel for Weapon racks, 10 fuel for ambulance, 35 fuel for officer 20 fuel for the Vehicle unlock and 120 for Major. So before you can even buy a tank thats 205 fuel and that's without buying a light vehicle just getting the bare essentials as the game drags on.
UKF is what? 35 for Bolster, 10 for grenades, 15 for weapon racks, 18 for PCP and 115 for CCP?
You see axis roll out tanks earlier cus they have to. All allied factions have faster medium timings. But allied LV's are very good at giving control. That investment alone pushes back mediums. It's not the side tech it's the LV's. The thing is rushing for a medium is not great as allies unless you are so far ahead that it does not matter. |
What unit uses this???? Cause sturm pio's use this assault_pioneer_mp44_smg_mp. And they are both meants for multiplayer(_mp). |

You maybe start to see the balance probems? I think last time I saw a fuk of 6-pounder by one shot of Panzer 4 was 3 years ago. While even T34 has the option to easy counter a PaK40 way more efficent. All that before looking at heavies.

Because only buffing one unit will open an other problem. So the buff has to be decent, while it still important to look at other units to bring the problems to a point.
e.g. Ostheer has 3 non-doc main AI vehicles. Ostwind, Brummbär AND Panzerwerfer. Beside the is StuG E (which sucks)
Whats the point of only looking at one fraction? Maybe the problem why one unit sucks is because of an other fractions line-up or feature? Maybe micro-manage problems or less counter options?
German support-weapons are often one-shots for Scot, so why the option for Panzerwerfer should be a problem then? Maybe the Scot is OP? Maybe StuG E isn't that bad, but the rest is simply OP? That are important things to look at, not speaking about Panzerwerfer. -> looking at the big whole alias "das große Ganze".
That much consideration is fine but pointless. Like the mod team though 0cp tied to t4 TA was a good idea after much consideration. Oh and look what happened. It's better to introduce a feature that seems like a semi decent idea and then balance or even remove it(like self repairing t70 sounds like a good idea but how that turned out). |

While support StuG can't pen and can't follow because one Penal is waiting around the corner. Meanwhile PnzGren with Schreck trying to survive by retreating to base.

According to coh2db.com zis and su76 already have same pen. But different damage.
Ost has teller for free and axis have better hh at in damage and pen.
You are forgetting that the panther starts at 260 armour. Hihgest soviets non doc is 150. Usf is 160. Churchill and comet are 240 and 290 for ukf.
Pen for the zis/su 76 is n/m/f 200 190 180 at vet0. At vet 3 its 260 247 234.
Pen for the pak is n/m/f 210 200 190 at vet 0. At vet 3 273 260 247.
No consider the armour values and wich at gun is actualy overpreforming now?
Your kinda disregarding the fact that ost tank have to do most of the heavy lifting unlike other factions. So for other factions at guns zoning your tanks out doesn't impact you as much as it would for OST. |

SU has been buffed through the roof, USF not far behind as proven by the most recent tournament winrates.
My wishlist:
1) Con 7 man doesn't get extra bonuses - just an extra man
2) Zis barrage change. For 30 munis, it's an instant wiping machine that doesn't need to hit on the first shot (though many times it does) because it's usually against MGs or blobs. Either increase the scatter or give a delay like pak TWP. The ability is just as lethal as pak TWP which now has a delay.
3) KV8 is a bit too good, it's a very fun unit for SU players right now, and nerfing the performance in any way would probably compromise the unit so increase the cost to 150 fuel.
4)Revert the rifle buff. If it wasn't bad enough that the rifles got an undeserved buff, the side effect of the buff also buffs the officers which is totally unintended as the officers are already great. Whoever decided to do this deserves a hard spanking cuz literally NOBODY asked for a rifle buff, the agreed upon solution was to nerf volks FOR REAL this time.
5) And speaking of volks, the changes for volks should be reverted and instead the nerf should be to remove sandbags and make them doctrinal like in fortifications doc or something and maybe one other. This is a REAL nerf, balance team, not the bs that is made to look like a nerf.
6) Brum is clearly overnerfed cuz nobody uses it anymore. AS I PREDICTED. Solution is to simply revert all the nerfs except the range. Nerfing range and armor is a double nerf to survivability which is over the top.
7) Give the werfer a different ability than counterbarrage, which is literally the most worthless ability in the game on a werfer. There were many good suggestions recently. Ost players would honestly be happy with an ability that's not completely useless.
8) Stug TWP is also an ability that is almost never worth using after being nerfed to shit. Again, any other ability would be appreciated.
I would not want do nerf kv8. What if you face an ahole who blobs like 6pg's/ 5-8 units of sturms ober and alike. Gotta to be able punish dum plays like that. |
