Most german units have that problem, they can perform perfect and arn't bad. I think most people agree, BUT at a micro-level many allii weapons are easier to use and the effect becomes larger on larger mutliplayer games when e.g. smaller things like range-profile became game-breaking. So scots can outperform Brummbär with ease because of range (beside the DPS is insane xD), or PaK40 become less effective because of multible enemies' heavy-tanks and AT situation became sad because of no long-range non-doc tank-hunter. Such things could be solved by remove the passive-fire or nerf it into ground and make only barrage effective, or make hit-ground more micro-important like StuG E.
This could be solved by smaller abilities, which have less impact on 1vs1 but becomes balancing-factors for other game modes. Also fractions shouldn't get an advantage because of map-design, at the moment hedges are simply too good for Brits. E.g. without mortar-emplacement is bad, with OP.

Just to add on this. Wehr support teams grows worse off since they are up against larger allies squad size that has more dps, better med range moving damages, etc. Say pak40, it is slowest to reposition.

The only way to make t4 more accessible at this point is to make it free. Seriously, it's the most accessible it's ever been. Make it much cheaper and just delete t3 at that point.

I think the PWerfer is mostly fine, it's OSTs T4 that is not. Make T4 more accessible and let's see how it goes from there.
Imo this is best reason. Either make axis t4 great again,to be really clearly stronger purpose units or make it cheaper
Right now as wehr player, we need to save up more resources and then do more micro, to make t4 units work for their costs. Mp/fu/pop. All tie down our late games

He covers more, but since i play Wehr, i like to point out how overhype the LMG upgrade, and now as shown in breakdown form.
Totally terrible against green cover, useless against retreating squads, not able to play aggressive.
Something about its targetting and slow arc as was pointed out by other posters.
I mean it has its uses early games, but the throw away comments by Allies posters as if it is OP. No way imo.

Ost sniper is fighting squads nearly double his own faction size no other faction sniper has such odds to fight against.
This is legit concern.
Imo the story so far is how Wehr units specials have been nearly equalised by Allies upgrades. In general, cost performance of Wehr is kinda the worst of all factions now. |

No i think this is fine as a notice about how allies lv are a bit too efficient in pop costs.
Increasing t70 pop +1 may not do anything for lv phase. But it helps to slightly constrict sov economy. Which they are too efficient now with the units getting stronger.
Like su85 is also cheaps
The adage of original intention, cheap to bleed, overwhelming in numbers. I think sov units need pop increase. So does usf. |
People forgetting that Ost has 2 distinct infantry units? One is better at defending and one just got some great buffs making them more viable taking the fight to the enemy. I know it's hard to believe here but needing different units to fill different roles is a good design vs WFA 1 unit to do it all...

Imo 7cons is clearly better. Lmg has questionable uses against aggressive infantry. And i guess late games, somehow lmg gets even worse to bleed allies vet squads. Maybe its their vet bonus like RA or their higher dps to drop grens.
7cons is just buffed cons with fast vet too. Put them behind sandbag, they are so tricky to push away in 2v2 |
Yeah lmg gren needs to play passive and defensive. It is fine if you are ahead. But even so, allies have a lot of options to flush wehr defensive plays.
That is before the mention of moving in enemey units.
In summary, wehr static plays are less favorable now, that vet0 lmg gren in late game is not as useful as vet0 7 man cons. imo |
Double stugs with poor pen and lower range is not efficient in dealing with heavies imo. 2 stugs is 180 fuel. A bit expensive to take the chance! Its TWP ability, worthless, and dont aid too.
Support your allies heavy with a ATg, and Stugs are zoned out. |
