I agree with everything Sully says. The only thing that aggravates me at the moment is playing against Soviets. I find that when players make multiple units from Sully's list, their OPness almost compounds. Guards with snipers and SU76 support is just too good at fighting off everything with minimal skill required by user (just a-move all your units...)

Panther armor is 320 btw
When I made the calculation I used the correct value from the stats website. When I made the other post though I was on my phone on the toilet, so didn't double check. |
And please, if there will be snipers, have them all 1 man squads. Soviet snipers are just ... |
I think a big issue with large team games is map resources. In CoH1, 3v3 and 4v4 player maps consisted almost entirely of low resource points, which meant that the large maps could be designed to contain the same resources as 1v1 and 2v2 maps. With CoH2s simplified resource system, this isn't possible, which I believe contributes to the imbalances between 1v1 and 3v3/4v4.
Therefore, if CoH3 reverts back to the old resource system, with high/medium/low types of points for each resource, this would be a step in the right direction. |
Its pretty much slow non doctrinal IS-2 with more HP, more range and 50% higher damage.
Its fine as it is.
Spoken like somebody who is a theory-crafting forum-warrior, but who doesn't actually play the game. |

Did you check if I'm wrong or are you just saying? Jackson Penetration at long range is 220. 220/360 gives you Penetration chance. Command aura decreases received damage by 20%, giving panther effectively 1000 HP. Given Jackson's damage, you need 7 Penetration hits to kill the panther. Factoring in the penetration, you need 11 shots on average to have 7 that penetrate. |

Panther is very effective at soloing tanks and rushing them. Panther wins versus Jackson 1v1. Jackson only wins if you can kite for a while ... and many good axis players seem to be getting command tank. Yesterday I played against talisman and hooligan and they had Panthers and command tank late game. Since my partner and I (who had 3 Jacksons could never kill any Panthers, I did some math. If you look at the Penetration chance of Jackson at long range against a panther who had command auto buff, it will take on every 11 shots fired in order to land the 7 shots required to kill the panther. Meanwhile the panther needs to only hit 4 shots to kill. So I believe it comes down to micro. Panther is a fanstistic tank for battling tanks. |
I don't understand why I have to give them money to make the game? Am I missing something? Are the days over, where we give a company money for a finished product? |
OKW is bad, this is a fact.
No, you're bad |
