Yes let’s change everything, I don’t see why not. |
Damn you man, I was so disappointed from that. Should have gone Sherman instead of Pershing stall.

OKW is the game's infantry faction. They have unquestionably the best infantry in this game at pretty much every level. At the engineer level with Strumpioneers, the mainline infantry level with Volksgrenadiers and Panzerfusilers, and now at the elite infantry level with Obersoldaten and now Fallschrimjagers.
If you spend any time playing USF you'll see this. The only infantry you can roll out to try to deal with them seem to be Paratroopers but with their arrival limited to CP3 it's pretty much too little too late. It's almost like USF should have an MG T0 to even the playing field some what that or make fighting positions cheaper and for God's sake reduce the time it takes to upgrade them.
I stopped reading when you said volks are the best mainlines. Absolute hilarity. |
While we're on the Sov Industry commander what would people think of changing the KV2's stationary ability to a scott/su76 style barrage?
At the moment there is little reason to use its ability as it just make it too vulnerable.
I’d actually make it some sort of indirect 1 shot flame round barrage to fit into Urban Defense better. |
The Leig doesn't hard counter the Soviet 120mm but it's still better than the 120 because it's so much more reliable and more universally useable.
There’s a vast vast vast difference between saying “the leig can be effective in fighting the HM38” and “the leig hardcounters the HM38”
Oops, yes, LEIG does not hardcounter HM38. It soft counters okay enough. Leigs relatively quickly decrew the standard mortar.
Sorry about that, my nerves have been on edge with all the garbage I’ve read recently. |
Getting two 120's seems like a good way to lose quickly. They're hardcountered by the LEIG which has the same range, seems to fire faster (disclaimer: I haven't checked actual game stats), COSTS LESS, lower pop cap, and actually hits what it targets.
I had a USF and Soviet try weapon team spam against me on Eindhoven last week and racked up 90 kills with two LEIGS.
In that same match, the Soviet had tried Maxim spam at first. The small arc and standard (slow) setup time of the Maxim make it easy to flank even when they have multiple MG's on a small map. Even when the player does get it down in time to shoot, you can often finish moving through the arc and not get suppressed. I haven't played 1v1's in the current match, but think that the Maxim underperforming is part of the problem.
You did not just say that a Leig hardcounters the HM38. You did not just say that. |
Whoever tested this is on drugs. No way in hell you stay 10M away with Shock troops or Rangers. You could probably wreck Falls with PPSH cons if you start the engagement close.
Guards airborne with ppsh are trash so no clue why they were included.
Verdict: Falls are anti infantry specialists. Use CQC units and get within 1-5m range. |
Anyone wants to translate this?
Edit: nvm the link made more sense |
I think the issue with Falls is camouflage, which is an issue with all camouflaged units since there is no way for them to be detected unless a unit gets too close to them or you use flares. To that end, I think each faction should get designated units that can spot camouflaged units from double the distance of normal ones.
Soviets: T70 recon mode, M3A1
