Feymonville, 34 minutes, Ostheer south lv16 vs USF north lv12.
Pretty interesting game with a lot of standoffs and careful rushes around the map. I tried to be Kimbo at the start and rush the usf base, but I'm not Polish so it failed.
I like the new map as well, though I was very confused at the start with the retreat paths which costed a couple wipes.
Interesting game

Thanks for casting our game! I totally agree with your criticisms with my choice to go for the second Pershing. I really misplayed with my first one. I'm not sure a Sherman would have been better, but I could have pivoted into Captain tech and just started pummeling the LMG blob and the Paks with it.
I also didn't mean to imply there was anything wrong with blobbing. I just wasn't prepared that game to deal with a well controlled LMG blob. This game actually got me to really start rethinking how I build in the mid-to-late game. Similar loses, or just slower victories, have, along with the advice of better players, pushed me towards more of a focus on indirect fire to deal with Pak spam (a very valid tactic) and long range infantry blobs (another valid tactic).
In general, I'm a little to obsessed with having a balanced and mobile army, and just not flexible enough with my tech/build choices.
My opponent also played very well here, with the possible exception of the 222 base dive. Those rifle grenades vs. my MGs were absolutely killer.

i dont intend to change or give proper advice its more a view of point
wen your are in deep combat action its difficult to tink clear and what decision to take its not easy to play vs a strong oponent but sometimes small changes in the type of build could be a more "effective gameplay" still was a good game just pity that dindt last longer so GG wp !

It’s interesting because after this game I went through numerous strats and couldn’t figure out Ostheer, until i started doing my current one and jumped to rank 181 from where I was at 280.
As for the game itself you probably could have used the mgs better imo when attacking. The usf 50 cal is best in offense with its rapid set up time. A Scott for mobile indirect fire and some good mg play and I would have lost most likely.
3rd pak was a bit overkill, but I had no fuel for tanks and had to camp at VPs, so I thought might as well.
The blob was more of a result of me having to hold the middle and drain VPs, so I wasn’t trying to attack the north without tanks.
