T4 used to be an elite tier of units that are now trying to be shoehorned in as general use units instead of exclusive specialists. When it comes down to it the ostwind will either be the obvious choice or the brumbar will have to be OP to warrant picking over it. We will run into the penal/con scenario but with AI vehicles with them coming so close together. Either the expensive one defies balance or the cheaper one is more effecoent. Trying to make t4 into an alternative to t3 instead of an escalation was a mistake. Absolutely agree. If anything T4 should have been expensive and taking a while to research, then there should have been a couple army benefits from it and good T4 units (Buffed Brummbar and Panther). In: COH2 Balance

You do realize the stuka fires a line barrage while katyushas/panzerwerfers fire a tight circle meaning you get different effectiveness based on enemy formation? Also the most important stat is katyusha short range arrival time, which if you use it properly in game against concentrated support weapons you will wreck them with all 8 rockets from close/medium range. Also your 2nd test has no value whatsoever. A “noob vs pro predictions” has no practical value. If you want experimental data you can sample from live games. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Game mechanics basics2 Mar 2020, 10:23 AM Stormtroopers are perfect the way they are. Katitof said it perfectly and you’re just not listening as usual. This is the same conversation everyone had wjth zero who didn’t know how to use Stormtroopers. There’s no drop off on DPS, you ambush an enemy squad at the perfect range for you and worst range for them and pop tactical advance to pull off a wipe. This can happen vs retreating low health aquads, long range squads, engineers and weapons teams. If you pull off the ambush properly you should get a wipe with no model loss or 1-2 losses then retreat afterwards. In: Lobby
