The difference between zook rangers and upgraded pgren squads is that pgren squads are still somewhat combat effective vs Infantry. 2 stgs + mini nuke> 2 rifles + pineapple. Thread: Two-Step PGren Upgrade1 Dec 2019, 11:21 AM Its adding an intermediate AT, not taking away anything. Im not quite sure why people are complaining about this idea. If you are not able to deal w a t-70 w AT rifles, you get the double shrecks. Properly balanced and tested, this is a harmless upgrade. Also, who the hell is bringing up historical accuracy. This game constantly forgoes historical accuracy in favor of balance, this is not exactly unique In: COH2 Balance

I wanted to get some opinions on the tanks listed above because they're roughly equivalent "jack of all trades" heavy call ins. Not going to include the Tiger Ace because that's kind of in a class of it's own. I don't recall if the IS2 got a buff recently or not but it's been maligned for a while has being greatly inferior to the Tiger. I have the least experience with. Pershing is excellent and so is the Tiger, in fact it's hard to decide which one I like better. I am fairly sure the IS2 loses vs the Tiger I, but its AI is absolutely revolting. The thing erases infantry, and takes so much punishment. A Tiger will win, but only after the IS2 wiped all your screening infantry. I can't say much about the Pershing though, mostly cause I don't play with it very often. In: COH2 Balance

You basically have to prepare to retreat since your next gunner may still die while setting up, and the allies blob cannot be suppress.
