+1 its funny everyone is ignoring this post by a top tier player. OP may be trying to just spam grens, however, t1 soviets is insanely strong. Penals are awesome, snipers are awesome, and clown is awesome with flamer in it. where as t1 germans, grens are awesome, mortars are only if sovs went t2, the mg is meh, usually dies from penal flank. bunkers are crap against t1. german snipers are a waste of mp.

One scout car and one German sniper(well with my initial tier one units for support as well of course) is how I completely shut down tier one with guards, this is my favorite game to play as Germans because it is micro intensive and challenging but who plays better will win and its Usually me.
I don't fear guards they are shit, with their shortened range and ridiculous load time they never gonna get a shot on my 222 and if they in a car its the same as using your sniper to counter snipe you wait for the right moment(the right moment being when you have got the guards in the car to pop off the at rounds at something else) then hit the scoutcar with yours and drop it so fast the guards mostly dead usually when the car blows and my sniper tearing em apart. Its artistic ;D
They try and make more scout good deal for me they will suffer the same fate and thats less units he has to gain anymap.

If soviet snipers were composed of one model like the german one, counter sniping would come back into play, just like it was in vCOH. Right now you can just keep sniping fearlesly until a model dies, then its just retreat and reinforce, not to mention hyper-speed granted by super cheap sprint, so you are risking very little compared to the german player, wich can lose his equaly expensive sniper much more easily.

I really dont understand why they changed this in the first place, the same way I dont understand why they changed mines from damaging and supressing tools to insta-gib semi-atomic bombs, this game improved over COH 1 in many concepts, but snipers(apart from no longer camoing everywhere) and mines went two steps backward.

Ummm no if the Russian sniper had only one man he would be absolutely fuckin worthless and would be effectively removed from the game because the German faction has so much better sniper hunter(222) and also a far superior sniper.

A pretty even match strongly played by both players. The standoffish match is really decided by 2 very Risky tank flanks through a swath of at guns that ultimately payoff. This guy can maxim spam much better then me whenever I do it my maxims just end up being riflenade cannonfodder.

Just tried playing this patch as I haven't played since Tiger Ace was released.

Still -

a. Mortars and MG's don't pack up correctly and just burn to the ground if molotov thrown on them

Yes mg's and mortars take time to pack up OMG! perhaps pay attention and anticipate the flank and move before your guys are already on fire? L2P dude.

b. Cons with PPSH easily beat PGrens unupgraded, this doesn't make sense due to the cost disparity

c. SU85 still reverses faster then any German tank can go forward, lol

Hmmm this hasn't been true for very long time maybe 5 patches worth of time, you admitted yourself at the beginning of your post that you don't play. Its painfully obvious here that you don't know how to play trying to rush a tank destroyer head on(Flank maybe). Agian you confirm that you are a noob, as if it can't be more painfully obvious. In conclusion the only thing that is Rubbish here is your Intellect and your gaming skills. Company of Heroes 2 has become completely epic with the last patch and balance isnt too shabby either but it does still in fact slightly favor Germans so really dude you suck.
