Thread: Easy USF fix1 Oct 2019, 19:29 PM I Agree with Tobis point of view about officers, IMO Lt should be the only one that participates as another RM with support offensive abilities, i would even include the Cpt skill that calls a squad even when its pinned down. But you just compared Falls with commandos and to make things worse you didnt specified on which specific field falls are better. I disagree with this kind of arguments because they self invalidate. Commandos are less seen than Falls because of meta, thats true though. I see too many people messing the concept of elite inf vs specialist inf. Both are expensive but they are way different from each other, like premium tanks and TDs. In: COH2 Balance

Increase the cost and with it the overall benefits from g43, OP wants earlier G43s and that can be done with higher munition cost for the upgrade, because that self limits its stability in early game and punishes blobs in late game. But would pgren get 4 g43s too? In: COH2 Balance

It is true though that G43 arrives too late for the early game time frame, but that might be intentional. Axis have a strong mid game if you consider OKW lights and OST mediums. Early OST Infantry combat is focused on stationary gameplay and effective ground hold Im risking my neck for this but if you need nondoc early rush firepower, you can buff pios SMG. Or use assgrens (on a totally different commander) To buff G43 you have to consider they are the main source of blobs in OST, that is a design flaw, the original objective of the gren G43 was a reactive, panic weapon upgrade, plus the interrogation maphax In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Grens UP & G43s suck1 Oct 2019, 16:56 PM It always happen that when devs try to balance Faction X vs Faction Y they always do collateral damage to the rest ones. More often than not that is intended, otherwise subsequent patches will undo what got changed. But even when devs explicitly say "we nerf X because (reason)" you always find people misjudging and twisting arguments, because they dont like their faction receiving a nerf. On top of that many people prefer many buffs instead of a single well placed nerf, or single buffs instead of many minor nerfs. Thats why volks/penals overperform and dont get adjusted. At least now IS and RM are in line. Final words on the topic, i would like more to see Jaeger command squad as an early G43 gren squad, maybe put that squad instead of the G43. Otherwise if G43 comes earlier it should be more expensive. You cant nerf G43 because if you do, Pgren G43 will be a downgrade In: COH2 Balance

IS nerf was ment to adjust UKF performance, specially bolstered IS. Back on topic, RM buff was intended (if it was not mentioned by the devs) to make clearer who should win close range engagements between volks and RM, because as everyone here said before, grens were already beaten by RM at that range (therefore no need to further increase the advantage) IMO Grens do not require any sort of buff on their G43 for this reason, their individual performance is OK too, if you see RM you need MG42s and teamweapons instead. The nerve of some people to do unreal mental gimnastics should not derail your point. But not everyone knows how to politely disagree and explain straightfordwardly why. In: COH2 Balance
