A sturmpio firing at the rear of a UC or M3 will also do a lot of damage. The commandoes were dead ahead the 222 and in cover. A rear armour damage was understandable to a point but this was not the case In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Commandos vs 222´s16 Feb 2020, 15:59 PM In a recent match (A 4v4) i could see that a single squad of commandos was actually able to fight off and almost kill a 222 that was already there. I understand their stens have high rate of fire but them being able to pen a 222 sounded like BS to me. With the falls and their fausts vs light vehicles i saw many (way too many) people arguing that elite AI shoudld be displaced or threatened by LVs (Not M5 or kubels, not those). The combat was kind of at 20-30 distance units. A grenade connected and hit the 222 by 1/3 of its HP pool too (no complaints about that, it was a skill shot) In the mentioned situation the commandos received close to no damage from the 222, because they were in light cover, but hardly displaced or threatened by the 222 autocannons. Even considering that this was a single case i highligted, what are the odds of 222´s as LV and camo´ed units counter versus a commando squad? Is it balanced for what it regards? Edited for enclosure. All small arms fire have 1 pen. Smgs have high ROF on small distances but not on distance. Vehicles are 100% hit by infantry accuracy. Raising 222 armor is a bad solution for its low cost Nerfing the pen of SMG will affect infantry combat This is simply a quirk of infantry - vehicle direct combat interaction and is hardly fixable In: COH2 Balance

Well i will higly disagree that because a single person agrees with you the point you bring is valid. Even if he plays all the factions, there are plenty of people who do aswell and disagrees with you right now. And this isnt politics, is not about being the majority, its about raising fair concerns and suggestions. A mob isnt always right, they just have a stronger voice to shout out their argument. Start reading more than wrinting and you will see it. And stop using words withouth knowing their meaning, vipper already told you, they are not the EXACT same ability. Give Spios a non-doc flamethrower and take the nade away. Then give Volks the same nade as Panzerfusiliers. This is a great idea. But Fthrower shouldnt disable Sweepers IMO In: COH2 Gameplay

A single round sandbag pile can be used in any direction and probably hard to deny to the enemy. I like the idea to implement the capture point sandbag build aswell. But is it possible? Thread: Mainline infantry sandbags change16 Feb 2020, 00:31 AM Since mainline infantries like Volks,cons, IS, riflemen (doctrinally) and grens (bunkers) are able to build their own cover the mechanic is kind of important to simply remove it. Therefore instead of removing the ability i would like to prupose a change, into a more defensive theme. Except for cons and grens, Instead of "building" sandbags (like engineers do) they now "spawn" a single, circular sandbag pile big enough to cover at least 3 or 4 models, like the ones in the capture points. This skill will have a big enough cooldown and will have a time to set up aswell. Thoughs? In: COH2 Gameplay

You need 2 deep wire to deny cover of a sandbag, but make sure to not trap your engineers. I have been there... Back to the thread. Grens shouldnt have sbags imo and im kind of against the reinforce cost reduction too. The grens are meant to be rather expensive and reliable instead of disposable. IMO the change was made lookin at G43 grens because they simply go full balls deep push and of course they will lose models on the way. If the buff was meant to G43 then simply buff G43 and separetely buff non-upgraded grens In: Lobby
