Their icons are above the squads, just have to know what the icons mean. The icons get lost in the mess often. In vanilla COH units are extremely easy to distinguish due to actually LOOKING different. Plus, in COH2 units actually blend in with the freakin background. I get the notion of camouflage, but this is an RTS and unit management, tactical decisions and micro are all dependent on one's ability to assess the enemy's unit composition. But if you can't even tell YOUR OWN units apart, something's really wrong with the RTS. In: COH2 Gameplay

It's rectifiable and easily fixable by Relic with the help of the community. The improvement of the clunky unresponsive UI and core game mechanics, like blizzard, is what we should be pushing for at this moment in time. Also, it's AMAZING how difficult it is to distinguish different units from each other in COH2. What the hell is up with that? In: COH2 Gameplay

Blizzard can also shutdown potential attempts to harass / take points back as it drastically reduces vision for both the player and the units themselves. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Sup26 Apr 2013, 23:28 PM Just a COH and SNF fan. I go by TheVeteran on GR, I occasionally cast games but it's been a few weeks since my last cast. Mostly play allies 1v1 and 2v2AT on vanilla COH, not a fan of axis mechanics. I prefer the Ostheer in COH2 though rather than the Soviets. I think one of the strongest points of vanilla COH was its voiceacting and I'm not even kidding. Hearing stuff like "ON ME YOU PUKES, ON ME" and "YEW MAGGOTS WANNA LIVE FOREVER?" makes my day. I'll just come right out and say it, the voiceacting in COH2 blows in comparison. Really annoyed with the current state of the game, Relic has managed to split up the already dwindling playerbase of vanilla COH with the old servers working better than the new Steam ones currently. Some of them formed Smoking Gun. The original COH experience has no chance of being recreated without them, as unfortunate as that sounds. In: COH2 Gameplay

Maybe the fresh money from Sega will rescue Coh2. If not there will be DoW3. Wrong. There are some amazing indie titles out there and I'm sure anyone here could name quite a few AAA titles that suck balls. High budget does not equal high quality. What we, as seasoned COH automatch players, consider game flaws are conscious design decisions made by the devs, so it's clearly a problem with how they envision their game. In: COH2 Gameplay
