There is no such thing as "top 2000". That's utter scrub rank.
I couldn't write it in another way. I'm rank 3000 in 2v2 and i always expect Axis to spam MGs and OKW to go Heavy Fortifications. I'm not complaining about it, i just bet that things get better in rank 2000 |
You can't/ shouldn't get 2-3 Shooks because they will bleed your manpower.
1 is already a heavy manpower investment, short and long time.
I use Shooks and they are not worth the investment, high risk low reward (but i like them ), they definitely need a buff.
Same goes with Rangers and Paratroopers, but still, some people manage to field 2-3 squads for flanking or tank mgs |
Wait till 2-3 of them rush your units. Shock troops are the Russian equivalent to "omae wa mu shindeiru". |
If you are in top 2000, then you're fine. There are worse things than Volks blobs, eg. Bunker / MG spams from both Axis factions. I would prefer the blobs since i use Rangers to shred them into pieces than having bunkers spammed across the map. |

Personally I'd say slightly reduced scatter would be preferable to RoF. Consistency helps a unit more whereas RoF makes it harder for your opponent to respond which makes the unit feel OP and/or Cheesey because if you don't respond instantly you can lose units fast. I think it's scatter currently is large enough that a slight reduction wouldn't be terrible - though admittedly I haven't used it a ton recently.

I think reducing the fuel a bit would be acceptable seeing as how it's basically a durable and more mobile land mattress now. I agree with Stark that buffing the rocket stats would be a bad bad idea.
What about slightly recuding scatter or improving the rate of fire? And just reduce fuel price by 10 (130 fuel) |

Actually Calliope is just fine. It might not have the same rate of fire as the Calliope in CoH1, but it's ok for laying down some waste prior to an attack. |
