At the point where we are it would be easier to remove smoke from RE, make Smoke a vet1 ability for officer and cut the grenade upgrade in half. But I'm not sure it Will solve anything.
The problem with USF munition isn't that BARs are expensive but that you quickly need two on your squads to keep pace with single OST/OKW upgrades.
Locking smoke behind vet 1 is something good. At least officers will have some utility (they don't have rifle grenades to face armor) besides the other abilities they have (talking about Captain and Major) |
One arguement could be that the weapon racks require another 60-120 muni to actually do anything while grenades are usable immediately.
Still weapon racks are 100000x better than usf grenades, especially since bars are great while grenades are no so great.
USF grenades are a little bit inconsistent (compared to other factions), but when RNG decides to do that wipe, you say "it was worth the munitions" |
Ya that sounds right, Grenades should be like 150 + 15-20 fuel. They nerfed it when they removed rifle smokes but never changed the price to reflect it.

Hi. I am a new player and i'm trying to figure out how to fight againts british installations as wermacht.
As soon as i retreat my forces when i come back to the vital point i see that anti air cannon. It destroys my light vehicles my infranty and even my mortars with an air barrage. I know i could move my mortar team but i am not skillful enough to do all that micro. If i stay with mortar team a grenadier dies somewhere else.
I know i am still new to the game but when i build bunkers some tank destroys them when i try to destroy their emplacements everything goes wrong
It is annoying because they build those things on every vital point and even on my fuel!! And before i destroy 1 with all my forcers they build elite infranty and tanks that obliterate my mortars

The USF grenade side tech 100% needs a price reduction, its way too much right now to justify getting until maybe later game when u have some extra resource float.
IIRC, it's 150 mp and 25 fuel to get grenades as USF? And 200 mp and 15 fuel for weapon racks? |
Maybe REs and Officers can have it by default, but Riflemen should not have them back, because it will break the game of Wehrmacht |

I'm pretty sure that you are at the same rank as me, let me tell you what's going on with Wehrmacht MG spam :
They are trying to buy some time to tech and deploy their tanks and artillery, while you will bleed in manpower trying to break their lines with infantry. You option here screams "ARTILLERY". In open maps you have plenty of choices to make them drop off the game. The first one is to wipe as many mgs as possible. This is where this cancerous strategy is based. If he loses many MGs, he will bleed worse than you, so you will tech up faster and have the advantage. I have won games in which the enemy had barely a 222 in the field while i had fielded a Sherman and sealed the deal. Also, M3 car spam is effect since you will be mobile and Wehrmacht can't go with that pace |
