GERMAN INFANTRY DOCTRINE
Veteran Squad Leaders (Title will likely be changed at some point)
-Panzergrenadiers can be upgraded with Support Package. Unlocks three abilities for 30 Munitions.
-Rudimentary Repair: Allows Panzergrenadiers to repair at a reduced rate. (1.1 vs a Pioneer's 1.6)
-Combined Arms: Panzergrenadiers gain -10% Received Accuracy and +20% speed when near vehicles.
-Mark Target/ Infantry: Panzergrenadiers can mark hostile infantry; enemy will take +25% received accuracy while the Panzergrenadiers receive +15% received accuracy. Retreating removes the penalties.
-Grenadier Veteran Squad Leader upgrade now grants -10% reduction on weapon cooldowns, +10% weapon accuracy, -10% received accuracy and reduces the cost of Medical Kits to 0.
Assault and Hold (Replaces Tactical Movement)
-Increases the accuracy of all infantry by 25% for 45 seconds
-Capture and decapture rate is increased by 100% for infantry squads.
-Costs 70 munitions
WTF is this? lol
give rifleman company "veteran surgent" upgrade ^^
- rifleman can be 6-man squad and can use sprint and field healing
- veteran surgent use 1 thompson
- cost is 60muni
why not? is it OP? u guys also will say "this is OP"?
rifleman can use 2 bar, so this is OP -> veteran squard grenadier now grants -10% reduction on weapon cooldowns, +10% weapon accuracy, -10% received accuracy and reduces the cost of Medical Kits to 0. OP??
anyway rifleman is most strong mainline infantry in coh2 -> play USF plz
utillity for PG is good, i agree too but veteran grenadier is just OP
if that patch will go on, relic must give "veteran surgent" to rifle company
USF have Cavalry Riflemen who have the ability "Covering fire". I don't remember exactly what it does (can't find it, but when i will, i will update you here), but it reduces the damage and the speed of the targeted infantry.
Actually using them instead of just recon support and .50 cal or heavy cav and captain every game. AAHT actually works pretty decent with recon support I guess, but I usually just make a .50 instead.
Well, you can use M20 to dislocate MGs or hunt down retreating squads. Of course you know that laying mines is a must with this vehicle. In general, it's a support vehicle which is useful for early game. Now that "refit and refuel" ability will be back on mechanized, my guess is that we will see Captain Tier a lot less. You will be using M20 for its mines and then you will give it away, gaining back manpower and fuel. Sometimes, you can field 2 M20s and let them work in a pair.
Anyways, back to the topic, the AAHT is very good in handling blobs, but you also need infantry guarding it. It's a portable machine gun and can do a great job. You can also use it early on as it can also be used as a counter to the 222 armored car, and if you are good enough in micro, even deal with a Puma. So, you got some kind of anti-vehicle (not anti-armor, as the AAHT struggles against Panzer II) protection until you bring in bazookas and tanks.
The Sherman weights up to 38 Tons (depending on the model), the T34/85 up to 35 tons, the Comet 33 tons.
So this small difference makes the difference if you get heavy crush or not? I dont think so.
Besides, the Brummbär weights 28 tons !?!?!?
No man, its has not heavy crush.
Look at this video from 12:20 till 12:50. You cant do what the Pershing did at 12:40 with a M10.
I confused it with M10's ability to run over infantry. My bad
I would honestly debate that fact. Im glad you avoided using absolutes and kept to things like "majority" and "some," but even then I think you're overestimating. I imagine most people would define pro (for 1v1) as gcs2 level players. Even if you loosened up that definition to include gcs2 qualifier players (so the top 32 seeds from the list), I doubt anyone would really call a noticeable number of these players toxic.
Side note: According to completely subjective personal observations, a lot of people who are "anti-pro" are also pretty toxic (just so you know, im not referring to you with this, Overlord).
Obviously not all of them are toxic. There are certain pro players who are toxic, others might be less toxic and others might be non-toxic at all. I think that most of you know about HelpingHans' rage (happened a long time ago, i wasn't even playing CoH2, nor i knew about the game).
Depends on which way "anti-pros" are toxic. I respect pros for their skill, i will not doubt it for any reason. But attitude and skill are 2 different things. I might like a pro for his skill, but i might don't like him at the same time because of his attitude. Again, my admiration of this skills remains.
PS : I'm toxic, but not in here. I'm toxic where i need to be toxic. And i know it's not a good thing and i must change that.
You want to get ambulance after your bring Lieutenant or Captain in the field, and after that, you get the weapon racks and start equipping your troops, since the enemy will most likely bring a light vehicle and start harrassing you. You need them fast, otherwise you will lose your ground
Yeah that seems to be the most viable strategy. Probably one of my favorite (definitely my go to) builds is 2-3 rifles into recon support with lieutenant and an hmg. I round it out with paths (sometimes I get early paths instead of a 3rd rifle but that feels a bit like shooting myself in the foot) and paras and wait for a fast sherman. I’ll even sometimes give the paras the bazookas and let the Shermans and rifles and path handle anti infantry along with the .50 cal.
I just wish I could take more advantage of the lights in lieutenant
How do you want to take advantage of Lt's light vehicles?
Seems like an unfair stereotyped view of the pros then, doesn't it?
They don't really have much in common as a group other than their skill level; it's not like they're some sort of tight-knit special interest group or something.
Then i'm wondering why the majority of the community agrees that some pros are totally toxic.
I'd hardly call Dane a pro, hes a uber axis bias player that cries foul whenever his opponent bests him, usually not blaming himself or saying his opponent beat him. Say something like "The old OKW KT win button was broken and deserved to be nerfed." and he delivers you a perma ban.
The day i got the ban (was temporary), he started blaming USF's Jacksons and UKF's Fireflies for insane range
Unlike your boss, they have no obligation to you at all and if you go around insulting them, righteously or not, they’re probably not going to have the best/most useful attitude towards you either. I’ve personally only really had positive interactions with top players, probably because I don’t go around bitching that the pros only go around abusing stats or don’t actually know what they’re doing among other things.
I never went around insulting them, even though i hate their attitude. I really respect and admire D0ggy because when i needed help, he gave me advice and was gentle.
