Sometimes they can even charge rifles in cover lose 45-50% HP but have all models alive and beat rifles. Sometimes one model get sniped on approach and sturms will lose. Last game, even though I won, Whiteball. Charged me across the top fuel point to my green cover rifles (that famous well) that were firing at sturms the moment they got into vision/range. Completely static. Sturms just charged my rifles, were down 1 model (3v5) and still took down 3 rifle models, like this: 5v4->5v3->sturms close->4v3->3v3->2v3->2v2. (Rifles)v(Sturms). They really are strange infantry. On one hand with good OST coordination they can secure good MG positions for team, can easily drive out out of most buildings. Basically their early game superiority is unmatched and work really well in synergy with OST MGs (since grens can't really charge across open field). And since they are starting, you can rush them to a fuel and know it's secure vs echelons, CE and (60% of time) IS. They don't need nerfs though. OKW is strong but it has it's weaknesses. If you'd like the list of names of people who said that Ostruppen OP, I'd be happy to share that with u, however sharing that information in public will trigger the moderators. Allied logic says whatever is a popular unit for Ost means that unit is OP. Ostruppen are not OP. They are situationally good. But this is not about ostruppen. Not like it is the case right now but we have plenty of patches were one or 2 factions were dominant. Someone has to be the best or worst overall faction. Whether is based purely on W/L ratio or accessibility. That on it's own is fine, the problem is when the gap between the top and the bottom is too big. Agreed that it is possible to spot a broken unit. However, as much as some people would like it to be, there are no broken units atm. Broken units are easy to spot and should be balanced instantly. A lot of people also call synergies broken so I'm inclined to mute out such people. Eg. OKW in Lienne forest (forest side), is much stronger than US or Soviets, while much weaker on open spaces IN early game. Most of the game is "you win some you lose some", and while most people accept it and move on, some really like to grind the turd down the alley and scream "OP/UP THIS/THAT" In: COH2 Balance

Cromwell on the other hand has received a number buffs. Last nerf was 2 years ago on december update. If a faction has none, or smaller spikes compared to others, I'd say that is the weaker faction. And if you can isolate that faction based on logical arguments, where take into account everything (mathematically possible, humanly impossible), you'll be a bona fide genius. In: COH2 Balance
