Hi,
Please give me a reason why a 85mm shell don't one shoot a kubelwagen ?
This game still amazing incomprehensible because COH2 have units which who were monsters during the WW2 and in this game are just shit units
Next, Wermacht and USF can build bunker, why it don't cost 2/3 man pop ?
They can build all bunkers as they want, heal and reinforce and cover with MG
Next
Elephant has the range, the penetration, the damage and good shielding in front, AND an option can shock tank crew, it's enough or need nuclear bomb ?
Well give me serious answers for these first three questions
I think this game is still manage by players who favor some faction, it's my opinion...
Very stupid questions indeed. Well done sir for wasting our time. |
why not add squads size upgrade at T3 (major)? cost 100MP and 15 FU
riflemen 5men -> 6men, Reinforce cost 27MP -> 25MP
Rear echelon 4men -> 5men, Reinforce cost 23MP -> 20MP
HMG 4men -> 5men, Reinforce cost 22MP -> 18MP
57mm AT gun 4men -> 5men, Reinforce cost 22MP -> 18MP
That's the more OP shit I've ever heard of lol. And we're living in an era of Sturmtiger. |
Shortly after release (1 year or so) the game was unplayable trash. Just play some of the single player stuff and you can tell. Even around 4 years ago the game was hardly playable.
For the past 2 years every patch there are 4 factions viable across most games modes, I'd take that any day.
And anyway I don't even think it's possible to balance the game across all game modes unless all stats and costs were adjusted based on game mode itself. |
the pershing being identical to the panther but costing 230 fuel isn't a good thing
In the Pershing you're basically getting a Panther in tank vs tank, but it fires HE shells at infantry. Panther is a tank destroyer whose anti-infantry capability is purely mg-based dps, so it's terrible against retreating squads/vetted/elite infantry/yellow cover, and has to stay stationary within snaring range to deal damage.
I like how the two or three people complaining in this thread keep comparing Heavy Tank vs Panther as if Heavy Tanks fired only AP rounds and weren't used mainly for bleeding infantry and as spearheads for pushes. It's 99% a L2P issue.
Use heavy tanks vs infantry and not in long-range brawls with tank destroyers. If a single Panther is killing your Pershing (moves faster than a p4, with armour and health of a Panther) or your IS2 (takes an average of more than 1 minute to for a Panther to kill an IS2 by itself), what the heck are you doing with your 15 apm? Just....reverse? |
are you retard ?
M26 and IS-2 not gonna win 1v1 WITHOUT ANY inf SUPPORT. That is the fact we have right now. Even you pay more price, limit in doctrine, yet Balance team and most of people would let Alies Heavy tank actually win Panther on 1v1 because " BALANCE ".
If you play alies, better get TD, medium and fuck Axis hard and fast before shit happen later ( Thanks to Stumtiger, KT and panther ).
The Pershing and Panther are almost identical in tank vs tank combat yet you're losing all the time lol.
IS2 has 340 armour and 1080 health, which is a huge defensive advantage over the Panther.
You are truly one of the worst players to ever play this game if you are consistently losing your heavy tanks in 1vs1 battles with Panthers.
Most importantly, good players use heavy tanks to bleed enemy infantry and as spearheads for their pushes - no one builds the IS2 to try to chase and counter enemy Panthers. That's what tank destroyers and AT guns are for. Please go back to the tutorial first. |
At least, Call-in 1 limit heavy tanks have to beat 1 panthers I think...
They already do. Lol. Call-in heavy tanks have better armour and health, and similar penetration. Pershing and Tiger have ROF advantage over the Panther while IS2 has high armour that can bounce Panther shots quite often. |
Every shot there is 1/3 chance it will do nothing, that's huge in a fight where your atgun is going to shot 3 or 4 times before disengagement. We're far from unlikely or we have a different definition of unlikely. Does unlikely means every single game for you? And I'm not only referring to my own experience, I see plenty of it in every game OKW/USF I watch.
Then veterancy shouldn't be a fix for basics such as fighting a medium tank with an Atgun.
It compares very favourably to ZIS and is only worse than the 6 pounder. You forget that the M1 has an insane fire rate which makes it a beast vs Light Vehicles and often allows it to get 2 shots off when a medium tank pokes in while the ZIS only gets one shot. It also has a self-spotting ability with Vet.

What about introducing a max models killed limit on ST/AVRE just like what they did for the T70? |
Blobber had 40% more manpower investment than a support player in 3v3, big shock coming to you clearly.FJ are imbalanced especially late game but that's a completely different story.You can't get ranked in the first place if you only play 3 matches and leave.You can only get so much rank in exactly 17(I just checked to verify) matches even with a 70-80% winrate which is a very good winrate for allied teams that aren't sub 100.
I didn't say that rank 800 was a "good" rank, I said that people agreed with me that sub 800 was "good"-they weren't agreeing with me on this on the forum, but on a discord server and two of them were sub 100 USF/UKF players, learn to read.
I love how you assume what and how I play like off a forum post without even seeing a replay of me playing, playing with me or against me, no nothing to prove anything.
"fyi i was playing like a retard 4+ years ago when half the playerbase didn't even have a rank lol bro your so bad"
You realize how dumb you sound right?
"half the playerbase" lol. This year had an average of around 6000 players (even after considering the new patch, which always attracts people back temporarily). When I got COH2 from a humble bundle on February 2016 5,620.8 was the average player count. Way to come up with amazing logic-defying excuses for being bad - which isn't even something to be ashamed of. I was as bad as you once, and one of my earliest noob posts when I was ranked in the 400s was "Something something OP as well". I've literally been there before and the only way to move forward is to have a positive attitude towards improving your gameplay.
I'd like to question the two imaginary trolls who think that sub 800 is "good". Like I told you, having 250 ping and playing without reading tooltips properly already gets you to 700. 470 is only half a step ahead so stop congratulating yourself please. Everyone else is dying from secondhand cringe.
You somehow have convinced yourself that being ranked 470 in a premade 3v3 is "good". I mean, you're not here for advice. You're not here to learn or get better. You came in with a horribly wrong opinion based off of shitty gameplay and flawed assumptions, and expected us to agree with you.
The only reason I sound dumb is that I'm trying to talk sense into you - you're beyond salvage. |
Considering the fact that ranks go up to 5000, rank 470 is 75th percentile atleast.Anything below rank 800 or so is "good" according to basically everybody I've talked to.Considering how few matches I've actually played with my teammates(less than 20 at this point in this particular premade lobby) thats great actually.
Playing enough matches on it's own i.e. rotting on the game can get you up to this point, regardless of your rank or winrate, because the ranking system is stupid.
Nice strawman btw, the point of my post wasn't that "elite inf beat my unupgraded IS wtff relic" but rather as to the circumstances of as to how they do it.
The circumstances were that you had 40% less manpower invested in anti-infantry capability than your opponent and are whining "power creep/imbalance".
Seriously the active playerbase is so small that I'm almost top 50 with Brits. The players ranked in the thousands are almost all people who downloaded COH2 during the free weekend, played 3 games of multiplayer, got rekt, and never came back. 470 in premade 3v3 means you understand some of the basics and are better than those players, which is the skill equivalent of "I can tie my own shoelaces". "Good" is as much of a stretch as "fry-cook in McDonald's = rich because there's a billion people starving in Africa". I saw literally nobody in this thread (or in the coh2 community) agreeing with you that rank 800 is anywhere close to good.
Fyi I was ranked 700 after playing my first 5 or 10 placement matches ever - at that point I didn't even know about tank destroyers vs generalist tanks in COH2, I built Panthers to fight infantry, didn't know sandbags and mines existed, had no clue about infantry dps and RA - I was fighting Grenadiers at long range with my Riflemen and wondering why I was losing. That's approximately the level you're at right now so your focus should be on 1) improving your skills
2) improving your strategy
