Yea, OKW has a higher error tolerance, same for most allied factions. Most of the times you lose as OSt when you make only one mistake. Mostly because you rely on your team weapons and if they get stolen you have double the damage since the enemy will use them against you. Without MG support you stand no chance against allied infantry. As Brit losing some men is no problem (in team games at least), you can always come back. Just need your mortar pit and your Cromwell and you are fine.
I did mean okw, ost is pretty skill based and I really enjoy playing with them. I would disagree about high error tolerance for allies though. If you lose a rifle squad or squad of tommies, the bleed from reinforcing means you're probably not going to get another one for a while, and it can also mean up to 120 muni down the drain for weapons upgrades you probably have them. |
I imagine it like the autocannon from DOW 2 but with rapid fire and only able to affect infantry and light vehicles, would be good IMO, different type of unit could be cool imo.
It wouldn't counter blobs anymore tho, and would stil be super vulnerable to nades of any kind even with the crazy dps. |
This time i can't agree with you, please don't touch it.
1-DSHK is doctrinal.
2-It has many counters: LeIG, mortars, walkin stuka, smoke + anything.
Don't make another commander useless plz.
Dshka really does need a suppression nerf though. It pins in like 2 bursts. I wouldn't do anything else to it and also the cargo run really should come from the player's side instead of the opponent, seeing all the free AA OKW has access to. It gets shot down half the time even if there's only one okw player with no schwerer set up. |
Lol. Kubel spam absolutely shreds USF in 1v1 without USF forced to go Mechanised. I would rather face double Sturm opening then 4 Kubel opening.
Lol double sturm sucks. I usually start cashing in the victory in my mind when I se an opening with two or more sturms.
Kubels when I don't have mechanized in my roster on the other hand... |
Certain vehicles do follow the 10meter rule. The luchs for example does.
Huh. Is there any sort of rule for whether it does or does not ignore cover at 10m? |
Stuka dive bomb is pretty unreliable versus emplacements, you have to manage to time them right or they are absolutely worthless.
Force brace.
Wait for brace to end.
Stuka divebomb.
Pretty reliable. |
That would be a huge nerf to USF lol.
Yeah have fun trying to keep paper tanks in action with just 1-2 RETs. |
Seriously though lol, I feels like such a cheapo when it can so quickly disengage after being over extended.
I feel like such a cheapo when I play axis. |
3 tips
1.vehicles don't get the minimum range "rule" for cover, so try to stay in cover all time against kubels
2. RETs are really good against kubels, and they cost the same.
3. when kubel is moving their burst get really small, so as long as they are moving their dps cease to be a problem, so keep trying to make they move/turn around while firing, once again RETs have really good RoF and accuracy against kubel even when they moving.
Didn't know that vehicles didn't get the ignore cover thing at <10m. Do RETs fire faster than riflemen? If they did, it would definitely make sense that they are beter against kubels then, since they get the same pen and 100% accuracy.
Would also add that circle strafing kubels is definitely a legitimate strategy as long as your guys don't get pushed around too much when it turns. |
There seems to issues with many flamer vehicles so I would suggest the following change. Normalize damage and reduce the number of DOTs.
Now add an ability that does less damage but creates more DOT/area.
Now the units can better balanced being able to do lots of damages via DOT but have cooldown.
I actually like that idea. |
