I did not state that riflemen mine planting needs a buff because I know that I'm somewhat biased and therefore am pre-inclined to think so. The axis commanders with trenches also come with 210 mp ostruppen to keep the trench occupied. UKF trenches are designed the way they are so that the brit player isn't dependent on the map to use the vickers vet 1 bonus (same with sandbags for tommies). If it was open to all the brits would not have the squads to keep them occupied and would be screwed the second the enemy got into one since they lack reliable garrison clearing tools (where's our tech free flame nade?). In essence building one would work against you nearly every time. He makes a good pioint. Target size still needs to be bigger tho. In: Lobby

He can pack up and move or retreat to avoid being artied to death but the truck can't. I guess that's why OKW get theirs earlier. It's a trade-off for both. Amis have to wait but get more flexible FRP. Also, you don't think Brit FRP is a problem? I say remove 'em all!!!!!!!! Punish the blobbers and inf spammers. +1 In: COH2 Balance

I wouldn't see the issue of having the same mine laying speed as it might encourage more players to lay downs mines and more mines mean less BARs, grenades, smoke, etc. Wait really? Only two or three seconds more? I thought it was a lot longer than that. Soviets and ost lay mines pretty fast. In: COH2 Balance

More of an annoyance to keep enemies moving if needed, as the range is quite good on them. How far is the range anyway? And there isn't any way to manually target where he grenades go right? There's been plenty of effort to eliminate the ability for players to blast people's hqs with indirect fire. Be it building mortar pits in base hqs to loiters and off map arti unable to target hq sectors. When an frp exists, that retreat point is often in range of indirect fire and in sectors where off maps can directly target the frp. Things like land mattresses, katyushas, and calliopes that throw multiple volleys are excellent for clearing fros. Stuka zu fuss and panzerwerfers are as well, but the single volley requires much better timing. A katyusha firing on a medic truck can usually wipe retreating units even if they immediately retreat to the hq due to the saturation effect. Not sure why this concept is a sudden mystery. Or you could just turn off your frp and have your units saunter on past. They usually take a different route too. And okw medhq is unique in that it comes wayyyy before any rocket arty as well. MGs to deal with the volks blob and kubel spam, ATs to deal with fast luchs/flakht. but beware of the Leigfest, they are quite powerful. At late game use rocket arty to deal with infantry and support weapons and TDs to deal with the heavy armor. Medium tanks are a waste IMO (shermans and t34s will straight lose to panzer 4 and anything else.) Walking Stuka (aka team weapon deleter) will give you a bad day too. In: COH2 Gameplay

Would take a lot to implement though, and I'm sure there's some unthought-of abusable cheese for it (then again, what isn't abusable in this game?) and might still sometimes lead to head-butting blob-fests in order to break enemy morale, especially on maps without a lot of good cover.
