However, I think a bigger HVAP-specific RoF nerf would make HVAP useless because of the huge difference in DPS. Perhaps a nerf of the base RoF, since 76mm HVAP was historically very effective. But base RoF is the entire point of the tank. IMO re-increasing the fuel would be better because it’s supposed to be sort of a ez8/okw p4 tier tank anyway. That way you can still sort of have packs of them but they’re not one on one overly cost efficient. As for the 76mm sort of seal clubbing ost p4s, I don’t see that as that huge of a problem since panthers pretty much seal club Cromwells and Shermans. Obviously the panther to Cromwell/sherman cost ratio is much different but the 76mm is a lot less tough and therefore a bit easier to counter when supporting elements of an army are considered (and not just in a rank 1v1 vacuum). Maybe a slight cp increase along with fuel increase if it’s too drastic would solve that issue. Edit: actually, even the okw p4 pretty handily beats the Sherman and Cromwell too, so that’s an even better comparison. Cost ratio is still a little higher but okw p4 is also slightly better against infantry too. In: Lobby
Thread: How to fix UKF: Unit overview20 Sep 2018, 04:57 AM I actually think that buffing comet anti infantry is the solution to its problems. I think that it needs to be able to exert pressure on the enemy, but as it stands right now infantry can basically just sit under its fire with hardly any casualties. I think most aspects of its at ability are balanced but it’s just unable to fight infantry well enough for its cost and role. I mean, I understand it’s a generalist, but that implies that it’s decent at multiple things. Whereas the thing practically has to run away from infantry because it’ll hit like one guy in 3 shots. I guess my point is that it just doesn’t feel threatening enough to infantry to justify its status as a generalist (or “elevated cromwell”) tank. Meanwhile the Cromwell also kinda sucks and can’t even eat rockets (justifiably ofc) like the comet can. Also it’s a bit odd that “cruiser” tanks are so bad on the move. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Feedback for Commander Revamppatch19 Sep 2018, 21:34 PM One thing to note is that brits may have an abnormally hard time dealing with concrete bunkers due to lack of mobile indirect fire. They do have the 25pdrs but that might become a huge muni sink given the bunkers’ high health. Stormtroopers -Camouflage now matches those used by commandos. God finally. They added some in the December Balance Patch, but I'm not sure if that made it to live. About the infantry section moving accuracy; kind of. A lot of the fear surrounding these bunkers is that they'll be too strong early game. They hit the field fairly late at 8cp! And while they may be ridiculously sturdy, I feel this can be balanced by putting more of a construction tax on Pioneers. After all, it is concrete, and permanent structures are time consuming to build. You'd have to pay with a big time investment not spent repairing your PzIV or StuG. While all this hate is going on about Concrete Bunkers, I still don't agree with the StuG E. I think the StuG E is better replaced by Reigel mines or something defensive. Perhaps hull-down? The doctrine so far seems already quite strong, so having a little bit of a meh ability wouldn't be too bad. Here's a thought: Why don't we make hull-down tanks some suppression on their MG's (maybe Maxim-esque suppression) and a smaller target size rather than the current range and received damage? Ostwinds could have suppression on their main gun instead, so it can be like a squishier, less-suppressiony version of a Panzer HQ. I think received damage is a better solution than target size changes since the former is not subject to so much rng. You might not get hit for like 4-5 shots in a row or all 4-5 of those shots could hit your tank, while received damage is more of a constant. In: Lobby

You can't give it better range and more potency damage wise. Its either one or the other. I would prefer it doing more damage, but that would require the uc to be less tanky, as it is quite easy to keep alive now apart from its horrible pathing Yeah it’s a tricky unit to balance for sure. Maybe giving it more DoT would let it be a hit and run unit against stationary targets (read: mgs in buildings) without doing so much immediate damage and without having to buff it anywhere else. 90 muni is also a bit much for a flamer on a vehicle even lighter than the ost flame track IMO. If in doubt you can load the test map and actually test to see what range the ability has. I was under the impression the ability range is 20 vs 15 on the volk faust right? 30 range is very long. I think that is one of the best things that happened to the uc. Unfortunately, it had to result in the wasp needing to be towed down as it was insane for a time lol. Wasp is underwhelming though, certainly. I would simply make it a cheaper upgrade and be done with it. There’s also the problem that it literally barely outranges grenadier fausts if they have the range bulletin and gets 1 shot by double schreck pgrens. This wouldn’t be so much of a problem if it wasn’t one of the only garrison clearing tools brits have. In: COH2 Balance

Whether it's slightly worse AT but better AI or equal in AT terms. Any buffs to any unit need to make them fit meta however otherwise UKF will remain being carried by the same 4 units. +1 IMO the comet should be a little weaker in the AT department (which it is) and be less durable (which it is) than the panther, but have good AI capabilities (which it doesn’t) and retain its abilities.
