Been seeing this strat abused a lot lately.
222 x2
Flame halftrack
Take over map with smoke and flame halftrack flanking
(takes 2 at gun shots to take out light vehicles, usually 1 shot misses and the when the 222 takes damage he just pops smoke)
Puma comes in to stop t70 that tries to give you map control on the other side of the map
If you lose your fuel you pretty much die to overwhelming bleed and fuel lose keeps you from teching up (Forced to get AT nades and AT guns)
Command panzer pops out to close the game / base rush.
This last patch made the early to mid very easy for wehr is all I have to say. It's just now if you do make it to the lategame, the ultra late game tank call-ins will be stopped by pgrens with shreks. |
I was watching Han's stream today..
He was playing Soviets against Vonivon and got decimated by 222 + flame halftrack. It was pretty much a variation of this build and wow.
Aecoh told him to watch Devm play against it and even then it's a pretty tough strategy to deal with.
There's alot of smoke and wipe potential now with the 222's and the flame halftracks so it's very hard to keep the AT gun rolling. |
Yea I think everyone that reads the post, immediately think "Why not just go with assault grenediers?"
|
The volks need to stay together, with the MG hovering behind them.
Engineer should be side capping, I saw that your third volk was capping the mid VP when you were losing your cut off at the start.
MG was constantly by itself, when the 222 came out you could have just left your MG at middle in the building to stop AT nade chases.
Your pac got the first T-70 to half health, it was strange to not see him go back bottom to finish it off.
At the bottom of the map, it would have been nice to see more wire used, or mines placed to stop his constant harass (then again you never kept the mid building in check, so he could just run past mid to your cutoff)

! You've been losing a bit as USF!
Yea I don't remember what happened XD
Just queued up for my 9th lose, double usf is pretty hard to use. When your teammate doesn't know how to USF lol |
And IIRC only far acc was changed and medium range slightly shortened so they’re still good at (a shorter) medium range and close range, making them especially good on commandos despite being cheaper.
omg so I wasn't the only one going commando brens lol |
USF is good too in 2v2, it just depends on skill. I play with my friends and we are always go as USF/UKF or USF/USSR. We obviously don't win every game, but we try our best. It also depends on how much you communicate with your teammate.
I see alot of losses (manpower) from double USF, it feeds too much vet lol |
Just ask Wehraboos to complain about PIAT and BARs and Bazookas.
Go on the forums, be obsequious about it. Brag about how they're
amazing and ez-win and win-button and how the SS truppen are easily
slaughtered like hapless piglets by them.
Within a week, they'll be nerfed at -50% off Mission accomplished!
You do it, if I do it it'll be too obvious LOL |
3 SU-76 is noob, better to get 1 SU-76, delayed t-43 |
WAT. Sounds like a L2P issue, USF is very strong right now, with a new and improved late game too. If you're losing, its not because your faction is trash.
Gotta disagree with this one here.
Soviets are the best right now for 2v2, ever since Firefly nerf it's better to have jacksons behind t-43's.
Or double soviets. |
