I honestly don't get it why the Crocodile as the only flamer tank in the game also keeps his main canon.
I know, I know, they replaced the MG with the flame thrower in real life but still it is stupid in terms of game logic. The M4 Calliope was also able to shoot his main gun and is not able to do so in the game.

I remember when the Calliope could fire its main gun in VCoH. The thing was god tier op.

It says it right there ABOUT THE SAME as an mg42. That is what he said in the shoutbox. He claimed that the suppression is the same for both mgs and that the difference is the damage. That is ABOUT THE SAME.

The poll is biased btw. Yiur post is talkig anout the supression while the poll ssays which hmg is superior. Ofc its hmg42 because of better damage.

It was designed like this on purpose, because okw has many close range infantry squads that can finish suppressed infantry by closing in

Hello there fellow players and forum friends!

I had an interesting conversation with one of the main balance modders in the chatbox. It boiled down to me claiming that the MG34 was a subpar suppression platform that can't hold its own by the time it arrives. Our modder didn't agree and proclaimed the following:

MG 34 only lacks damage
the 34 has almost the same values as the 42
and from weapon tests in the open, they perform about the same

I find it odd, since I find the MG34 to be anything but 'almost the same as the 42'. I would like to hear your opinions about this! How do you feel about the MG34? In all honesty, I feel it is currently better than the Maxim, but still a subpar MG nonetheless.

If you vote, could you care to explain why you chose your answer?

Huh. When I use ostheer or soviets, my sniper always seems to vet way faster. I think it is just the slower rof then. Also, volks are cheaper than tommies and rifles, and so are weapon teams (priority targets for my sniper usually).

Well for the Ostheer sniper it comes down to the fact that you fire at more expensive units such as Riflemen, Infantry Sections or Penal Squads.

As for the Soviet snipser, I believe it has to do with the fact that it was designed to fight Ostheer and thus excells vs grenadiers and support units.

The Brit sniper seems to be designed with it being a sort of early light vehicle deterrent and most likely will vet up the best when using it for this purpose.
