Real question here.
Is there ever going to be a nerf for the MG42? This unit is clearly overperforming but since this board is practically an axis fanboy nest, nobody talks much about its performance.
Once they reach vet 4 and 5 they become pretty rambo if you ask me. But then again, they are only a 4 men and considering all the demo and Allied artillery potentials, they can get wiped in the blink of an eye. The suppression at vet 4 or 5, can't remember exactly when they get it, needs to go imo.
The adwantage with EFA pios is that they are ass-cheap. you can use them in lategame to harrass, cap, scout and build stuff. The investment in a sturmpio is huge for OKW. and in long games you have to do it already anyway.
i would also suggest the minesweeper to buff the EFA sappers a bit, but not too much. Maybe like 20-30%
Sappers and REs are not cheap lol? That is why Smith suggested a 50% faster repair rate for Sturmpioneers since they cost 50% more.
I just wonder why everybody claims 'allies op' and ratio is still near 80/20 axis/allies like it was... uhm... always (release-time OKW, garden yeah). It just doesn't fit. Or. A lot of axis players choose their faction just because it looks cool or whatever but surely non-gameplay-reason and then complain about balance. Logic? Nerfing allies is not an option, lelic just needs to make axis models uglier
Brits are far from OP, they are just too much fun to abuse with their broken stuff. That is what I meant man.
The vanilla faction´s repair rates are just too slow compared to the newer factions. Repairing an IS2 or a Tiger takes ages upon ages. This in my opinion broken feature is especially punishing in 2v2 and up where you spend ages repairing your tanks as Ostheer and Soviets to eventually rumble your way back up to the front line and see that shiney Perhsing, Sherman, Cromwell, Comet or OKW Panther/P4/JP4/Command Panther back on the line waiting for you fully repaired.
Now I don't know about any of you, but I would love to see the newer faction's repair rates get nerfed to Vanilla faction's repair rates. As of now it is a shitfest. I have had so many games as both Soviets and Ostheer where I simply got out repaired...
