Soviet conscript against Volks grenadier is ok, rifle vs rifle
against obserdaton, is ok, becuase obserdaton comes relatively later and expensive too build.
against stormpio or PG, it is fine, as long as you are in green cover, you can still manage shot some guy.
against grenadier with LMG, is not ok, because grenadier only cost 240 Mp, ostheer can just spam LMG with 4 or 5 grenadiers, conscript can not stand a chance,
For me, grenadier with LMG just like obserdaton even with more ability like rifle nade and panzerfaust.
i suggest that Nerf LMG, like nerfing its accuracy.

given the fact that Relic will not change the core design of soviet faction, here is the change i think will not touch the core design.
1.Swap T34 and SU-76, make T3 fuel costs less, like 80,
T3 becomes light armor building
can build halftrack, T70 and su-76
they can counter infantry and medium armor if cooperate well
T4: rocket launcher, T34, Su-85,
T4 becomes Medium armor Building
Similar to the Vcoh us tier structure, you can go fast T70 and supported by SU-76 even your opponent got a medium armor, or you can go T4, to cooperate T34 with su-85.

however the total cost including tech up and building are similiar, only the scout costs 10 more fuel and 80 more manpower comparing the total cost not just the unit cost.
but dont you think M20 comes really fast? maybe its building time should be a little linger?

well, i can see the flaw of your design, for most of time, most of players will only use common units to win the game, for instance, ostheer, you will definitely go Grenadier, according to your design, if i did well in one unit, you should be awarded with drops of that unit, but do remember, you have to use grenadier every match, but the intell bulletin of grenadier is limited? how would you fix that? same theory for other units, so random drop is way better than focus on one units, reason one is the number of every specific unit intell bulletin is limited which makes infeasible to implement that way, second reason, for most of time, the unit you are using every match is also limited,i will not go some bad units just simply because i want to get the drop of that unit.
however, i do agree higher level player should be awarded with more drops, depends on the duration of match and some gameplay states and player level to decide how many and how rare the war spoils drop should be. |
1.I noticed all the firing arc of HMG increased?? MG42 also fires further, Maxim fires wider.
2.the firing distance of AT gun seems increased as well?
BTW, i remembered there was used to be 200% resolution, why relic remove it?
