So having taken a break for 6-ish months I am trying to get back into the game (not doing very well so far).
I see that Fallschirmjaegers now parachute in (way slower than I expected) and cost less. Are people using them less now? I guess it's good that they can parachute anywhere now so no risk of targeting an occupied building by mistake, but can the plane that transports them be shot down by AA?
Also, any reason for the nerf to Airborne Assault? I didn't think it was that good before.
-May not do much if outnumbered and unable to close distance
1.) Of course, that is the tactical counter to the unit, it would be horribly unbalanced and
unskillful to have a unit that can run across an open field and then beat multiple squads which
represent a much greater amount of manpower together, instead of utilising true sight to flank or
ambush.
Removing autofire from indirect fire units would make them obsolete unless a substantial cost reduction is applied. I'm not going to pay 330mp for a unit that needs constant babysitting to do anything useful.
