RIP Guards, Stug-e, and stuart. These units deserved nerfs but perhaps not this much. Some of the manpower increases are ridiculous especially since these units will perform significantly worse, therefore reducing their cost effectiveness hugely. Will not be surprised if players just avoid these units all together.
Puma mg nerf, umm the mg is already pretty shit vs inf why remove the capability all together? Also the piat homing missiles WHAT?, this is really dumb. Buff piats fine, but this is gonna look funny watching a piat tracking down a vehicle.
LUL really nerf soviet mortars like all another with his reload time ?
About quad, he have poor start speed, so its stats looks not good for him. Really i can undestand why its get nerf, its not quad from summer 2014, lose him now are more easy.
Really, ostheer pio buff ? What about soviet pio ? Just whanna look to eyes person who think, that ostheer pio are weak, but soviet pio are fine OpieOP.
@The AEC also suffered from extremely low armour causing it to be destroyed by S Mines and HMG teams too easily.@ Realy ? What you can say about t-70 that have lower numbers and die faster then AEK from S mines and MG lazers ?
So fusi popcap are fine ?
No changes for scope in 222 when you can see 2/3 of map ?
No changes for OKW flayers from com panther doc ?
At least nerf 1919 and penals.
No lolotovs buff ?
At least buff maxims .
6/10 for patch.
So double BRENS are legal, double BARS are legal.
Hope t-70 autorepeir from docs work fine in bug world .
What the old logic, nerf unit and nerf his price like with guards ? Is it hard make somthing one ?
Spot on. Keep in mind though there are some changes that you mentioned which the community testers/modders would agree with, but can't be included in the patch because they are limited in what they are allowed to do by relic. It is still a little depressing that some of these things get overlooked and also the multiple contradictions in the changelog.
If you only directly compare starting weapons and weapon slots, of course it ain't gonna make no sense. PzGrens for have their two weapon slots because they are a transitional unit. They are supposed to fix the mess that is Ostheer's early infantry fuckery, while providing the necessary mobile AT support that prevents T-70s from going wild later on. Now, this of course doesn't work so well, because Soviets no longer work like they did in 2013 and some other factions have entered the field...
And if you compare anything with double-BAR upgrades, you should take into account that the BAR was supposed to be the ammo drain USF didn't have otherwise. One BAR was significantly worse than the lMG 42 Grens could get, so you needed two on a single unit to have a comparable increase in damage output. That idea went belly-up when the BAR was buffed beyond imagination without increasing the cost, which is why multiple Riflemen squads with two BARs are even possible in the first place. It's a similar problem to the short-lived Tank Hunter spam Soviets saw when the PTRS was buffed - the difference being that this was fixed, while the BAR-thing is obviously totally okay.
Im not talking about bars I said 1919s and brens...
The upgrade is a little iffy at times but if you have the munitions you should usually get them. The problem is if you get them too early then you can have no munis for faust, flame nades, mines or even shreck so buying stgs can put you in a dangerous position.
The thing that should be changed is the upgrade taking up two weapon slots. Sturms, pgrens start with 4x stgs yet they still have 2 slots, I think the volks upgrade should only take up 1 slot especially since they only get 2 stgs. Meanwhile brits can get double brens and usf can get 2 1919s on their squads, it doesn't make sense.
This ability could use some real love often it's not worth sacrificing the pintle gunner for it. Firstly the sight range bonus is very small and is in fact less then what the brit tank commander gets lol.
Secondly the arty barrage is complete shite, 120 muni for 3 shells that land after a huge delay? No thanks.
After this post i'd be suprised if he still does it at all.
I know if i were a dev and players start attacking me about looking into a situation on work hours i'd be like you know what. no.
Then i'd hold you high and might be like look guys this asshat decided to open his mouth and be a jerk and this is why i refuse to do you service.
Its what i do at my current job.
I was joking.. don't take it too seriously. Also at this point the devs weren't taking a lot of shit because they still had some integrity.
You can't make it a cover bonus unless you reworked all the weapon accuracy since most units get 30-40% more accuracy and will be shooting faster at higher levels. It means you can't really assault or maneuver unless you got things like smoke, etc, but that takes time to drop.
It'd just be far to lethal to leave cover.
The better solution would be to change the high RA modifiers some units get.
People aren't mentioning the huge implications that reductions or removals of received accuracy would have on the game.
Firstly Weapon upgrades would become even more stronger than they currently are, and gaining access to them would provide a huge power spike. In other words anything carrying an lmg will shred even more than they currently do as close ranged infantry will take too much damage before they are able to close in.
Support weapons will be indirectly buffed since these units will do more damage to infantry and reductions in RA won't matter for their squad since they usually don't have them in their veterancy anyway. You wanna see maxim spam become a problem again?
Close/mid ranged units like ppsh cons, rangers, ass grens, sturms, bar rifles etc will be hurt badly by a received accuracy nerf. These units need to close the distance to be able to deal significant damage but if you lose half of your squad members before you can get into range then whats the point? Received accuracy bonuses are what allows these units to cross ground under fire and still remain relatively useful in the late game where lmgs dominate.
