I think it depends a lot on the time of day. When the Europeans are playing, I'd agree with you. When it's in the evening on the US west coast, it switches.

I just had a game on La Gleize where someone, whose base was on right side, went all the way to the left and started building emplacements. His name was in French, so I think he was trying to build a historically accurate Maginot line, someplace that the Germans didn't need to attack.

The problem with UKF is the discrepancy between 1v1 and teamgames. The thin line you thread between them been obsolete for 1v1 and their current state.

Which it all boils down to, IMO, their early game transition and performance with bolster.


I would try on keeping their current 4 model performance and instead nerf the scaling they have through medic/pyro/bolster.

Forward retreats are lame. Efa is superior because it was designed around your choices mattering. If you picked a weapon upgrade it didn't buff every single combat Stat and it's dog and more to the point retreating meant giving up ground. It's a core part of the game that seems to have been forgotten. Retreat isn't a get out of jail free card its supposed to be trading ground to save your unit. Certainly not "well this is a minor inconvenience so I'll retreat 6 feet so I can try again.
OST has no need for a forward retreat. They have both bunkers and a very improved halftrack for reinforcement and more ways to heal than you can shake a stick at. Please leave some semblance of thought required yea?
