I disagree that these are minor nerfs
The threat of sticky satchels severely hamper the shock value of a 222 or a fast P4 and the luchs (less so). Currently Soviets have their cake and eat it in this regard.
In small game modes rifle smoke negates Osts backbone.
US FRP allows US to maintain relentless pressure on ostheer which needs breathing room to flourish.
The firefly counters all ost armour.
4 man Squad wipes cost you the precious vet whilst 6 man allies squad survive
Garrisons changes help mortars (and ost have a particularly good one)
Meanwhile Ost loses what? 10% armour on a vet 2 panther. I won't comment on OKW as while they clearly have been nerfed a fair bit I have little experience
happy that someone see the whole picture here. people think the only way to improve a unit is by buffing it while sometimes u need to nerf the op stuff of other army.
and the panther loose is vet 2 armor buff yes but it get better reload speed. |
Some really cool plays. The only issue I have is that we won't see this in the 2v2 tourney. My shower thought during this game was to limit volks to vet 3.

i play soviets alot to.
i agree with you on the luchs part, it come out very soon and can hurt a soviet player alot. and okw got a very good early map control, it can be very hard to deny their fuel, against a good player.
Personnaly i always have an at partisan commander and will use it in a bad situations if the map allow it.
i use some defensive mines to. and i pray for the 3-4 mins that i will have no hard counter.
on the 222 part tho, well u can use mines like u said, one ptrs update on penals, dshka, or just regroup all your forces and hold your fuel till the t70 come out.

you don't want to get a t70 against luchs, all you are going to achieve is losing the battle of attrition.
And WC51 cost nearly nothing IF you can manage to retreat it.
t70 is a soft counter, but my point is viable. |
The soviet scout car is actually really good. The wc51 just sucks because you can't get flamer echelon in it.
If you are having problems with the soviet scout car, you could improve by working on your micro and practicing with it.
even against okw it is still prety dangerous to go, since it cost 15 fuel, which mean t70 will come late and it already come way later than luchs. |

Thank you so much man! Too bad it says the event only runs from September 28th to October 1st, and I made this post on 3rd
Anyway, I've picked 4 maps from the lot, played the crap out of them and submitted some feedbacks
They are all amazing maps, will definitely try out some more when I have time tomorrow
I hope I can still get supply rewards... If not then eeh it's okay perhaps next time, hopefully the map makers will find the feedback useful at least.
