So can someone on the patch team pass the torch to relic for the panzer III or Jumbo
Yes Panzer III please. |
I completely agree with you.
i also notice that each rifleman individual dies more easily than its Axis counterpart. Only the Conscripts share the same fragility
With the constant dying, Riflemen are really a manpower drain
Early game USF riflemen beat Grens 1v1 every single time and they are better with double bar/lmgs when vetted up than any grenadier with only 1xlmg. |

Hello,
I know this replay will be incompatible in a few days, but perhaps someone can still have a quick look at it.
I play USF around rank 600/700. Sometimes on Arnhem checkpoint, an Ostheer player chooses the Assault grenadiers doctrine and locks down one or two of my cutoff, and I don't get through. This time it happened to me on Crossing in the Woods. What is the best way in reacting to this?
This specific time, both my cutoffs were locked down, so going somewhere else was nog an option. I tried getting a mortar and a mortar half track, which perhaps would have worked better if I targeted the command bunker sooner instead of the team weapons.
Hope someone can have a look at it while its still valid!
Smoke + Smoke + Smoke...you had 2 mortar vehicles who could have prevented all those MG's from doing nothing with just smoke barrages, with smoke you could have capped your cutoff to get faster resources and sometimes it's better to stop bleeding MP and just wait for some deciding unit.
Easiest way smoke + grenades. |
Funny, a while ago I asked in the State Office how to counter this unit. We relegated to OKW Raketen Cheese, JT/Elefant, Stuka CAS, or mass armor dives.
I would say that the M8A1 Scott is overpowered. It is too survivable for a unit with such a reliable main gun.
I propose that we remove the M8A1's ability to auto-fire and attack ground. To compensate for this, I would decrease the cooldown of both the regular and the smoke barrage.
This would increase the micro tax of using the M8A1, and remove its ability to kite infantry and so effectively target units on the move.
I would argue that this would reduce the overall destructive power of the Scott, but it would still remain survivable and effective as an artillery unit. It would also increase the possibility of counter-play, as you can react and move out of the barrage area.
Main problem of the unit is it's speed. You can't kill it when a good player is controlling it. |
Its combination of firepower, mobility and survivability is borderline OP and super annoying to fight against. Especially because it can hide behind the Jackson wall with its 60 range.
Ostheer is pretty much defenseless except for diving in with a Panther while OKW has a tiny chance to ambush it with stealthed Rakettens.
Anyway, I'd say its killing potential is the biggest problem. Especially at medium to close range where a pair of them just becomes super wipey. It needs a slight ROF nerf and then it should be fine.
ROF nerf & great decrease to accuracy when it's moving. At this momemnt it's shooting while driving 200km/h speed. Decrease rof & accuracy when it moves. |
Typical noob doesn't understand that at high level play, pro players will just circle your JT with their UC. Checkmate, the JT does not counter the UC.
Not when you secure your flanks with OKW trucks, can't circle it then!! |
At that point, I'd prefer to just counter it with a KT. Countering UCs is the KT's one true purpose, after all.
You have a point, but when JT is the true counter of all... |
Just build an M1 AT gun. It has the highest fire rate and widest arc of all the AT guns, so it counters the UC really well.
While you are building M1 you can build UC to counter the UC... |
Just have a commander with the camo option for sprint. Jaeger commander is very good to have as option, then you will get sprint to faust that UC.
Just know where the vickers is before sprinting for the faust, you want to lure the UC little bit out of position from his MG cover.
Anyway sprint + fausts = dead UC.
ps. Later on sprint with pgren shrecks is a very good to have. |
Bro, that would be a complete nightmare, Imagine spammed bofors behind bofors, with the advanced cancer doctrine repairing them all.
Tommie emplacements were in pretty good spot, but then they gave that advanced cancer commander. |
