IS-2 should indeed counter panther, germans have a lot more options to deal with heavy tanks AND THOSE OPTIONS SHOULD BE UTILIZED, not abandonded. You just want to spam one unit to kill everything, and that's not how the game works Panther is not main battle tank. Its role is to counter heavy armored vehicles. In: COH2 Balance

It's combined with not so fast reload, making it actually useless without support, and what I mean, is that it hardly can hold it's own against a Panther!... Panther is meant to counter IS-2. I am not sure why you think that SU-85/M36/FF should counter Axis heavy tanks and Panther should not counter that IS-2. In: COH2 Balance

I suspect the time for switching from auto-fire to barrage and vice versa. In: COH2 Balance

It has been buffed in the "bug" fixes: Fixed an issue where the 120mm Mortar would need to reset during the initiation of barrages if the target area was offset with the mortar, despite being in the arc. Fixed inconsistencies where the 120mm Mortar in AOE and fire-times between auto-fire and barrage. Fixed an issue with the 120mm Mortar tooltip regarding population; will now properly state 9 rather than 10. In: COH2 Balance

PW and Stuka not that good at taking out mortar pits (unless PW fires from very close range or Stuka fires incendiary which require veterancy) and brace will greatly reduce damage taken from rocket artillery. I didn't think the centaur or ostwind needed buffs since they were both already very good in the previous patch. I'd say they're balanced against each other currently, I think they're both too strong in terms of damage output and mobility. Didn't even get to try EWS centaur because I went anvil and sextons, but vet 2 centaur is as fast if not faster than a p4. It's pretty crazy. ... Centaur and Comet mobility was pointed out during preview. One has to also keep in mind that Centaur has superior size and armor that ostwind.
