Thread: Calliope commander every single game20 Jan 2016, 19:34 PM We're going to have the same issue with the land mattress commander for the UKF when they release it. When a faction has no (someone mention base howi's I dare you) non doctrinal artillery to counter blobs and soften defenses, they are heavily handicapped. I'd pick the ability to have rocket artillery over any current UKF commander, assuming covering artillery will be adjusted by this point too. In: COH2 Gameplay

How in God's name do you think this will help with the USF blobs you talk about and what the flying fack do you think it will do to balance in general when it is already Allied favouring right now? It's a real quandary as to how improve durability for static artillery without making them immune to off-maps and deep pushes. So far: A brace ability? OR Reduce off maps potency against them (namely SDB 50kg). Maybe they should make it so that you are unable to call in aircraft within a certain radius of an AA unit? On one hand we have the Pzwerfer, Stuka and Calliope 'Over performing'. The Katyusha, which I think is balanced perfectly but in a poor tier Then we have the: B-4 ML-20 Scott Priest Sexton LeFH-18 UKF base Howitzers Which have almost disappeared due to being UP, 1-click countered by off maps or from being the Sexton. With USF and OKW blobs a big issue at the moment I think one of the ways to mitigate the problem would be by trying to make artillery relevant again. I have no ideas yet in what they could buff, I just wanted to know what you guys thought? I'm not trying to start a STUKA NOT OP M8 L2P thread, just looking for a decent discussion In: COH2 Gameplay
