Regarding the grenades I'd factor in somehow the amount of micro pressure you can exert on your opponent by using them. Compare incendiary to pineapple for instance. When usf researches grenades and uses them plenty it creates a lot of pressure imo, because wrong or delayed decision easily result in squad wipes. The same is not true about incendiary or molotovs. The game is too complex to break it down to a simple list of numbers as clear cut as you seem to perceive it imo. |
I find canceling it should not have a timer because that makes it too risky to be useful. Increase the time to reinstate frp after it was cancelled might be better. |
The doctrine I feel is otherwise not that strong any more since the command panther negates a KT, has been nerfed and will be further nerfed with the incoming changes to call-in tanks. The flares are pretty strong, i guess particularly in team games where artillery has such an impact. |
ISGs seem pretty useless now that they get outranged by all other artillery barrages, mortar pit, 120 mm, pak howie. Reducing the auto fire range was surely a good idea, but the unit is way too fragile to move that close to the frontline for barrages. All other artillery seems to still do damage to the support weapon itself while the isg only damages the crew. Anyone tried using that vet one ability? Looks as though the vehicle has to be right in it's face for that to work out. It's certainly nice to have smoke now as OKW but you more or less buy that thing for the purpose of smoke only now. Allied mid game artillery can still just sit back and relax out of safety. What tool to use in order to remove dug in brits in 1 v 1? The isg was mediocre at that role even before this. |

The AOE and scatter have been adjusted to make the unit less devastating, particularly against team weapons that it could generally wipe out in one barrage. In return the cost has been reduced and the population made to match the other rocket launchers.

Noticed, using either incendiary or regular barage triggers a cool down for both barrages now. No one will use the incendiary if it costs a hundred munis and denies the regular barrage, no? |
- AT infantry rework
- Light infantry support gun is seriously underperforming

1) Lets take a look at only AT infantry OKW currently have. Strumpioneers 300MP, 9pop, 4 models, upgradeable with 90 munition Panzerschreck. Now consider that in almost every match you want to have at least one minesweeper. That means you have to buy another strumpioneers to have minimal AT infantry. They are simply too expensive for what they have to offer. If they had 120munition 2 panzerschrecks as panzergrenadiers. That would be different story. Other option is giving panzerschreck back to volks and penalize players who blob spam volks with schrecks.
2)Even Wehrmacht mortar is more usefull. If it had suppress as it used to have, it would be viable option.
1) Giving them the option to upgrade Schreck and sweeper would be just fine imo. I personally just don't use schrecks as OKW unless I play against USF. Raketenwerfer supported with volks does somewhat ok now and you need a raketenwerfer at some stage in most games anyways.
2) The only problem with the ISG I think is the lack of smoke and/or sufficient damage to garrisons. otherwise it is pretty useful if you attend it. |
i think if it can come in a battlegroup, with 1 flamer pio and 1 shrek pio it would be cool, they need to increase the cost a bit ofc , but the doctrine itself is kinda lame as well.
The doctrine is kinda lame especially because you cannot upgrade flamer AND sweeper on the 9CP/300 MP unit. Even rear echolons can upgrade both with rifle company I think. So soviets can just spam mines and demos to win to this. You spend 18 pop cap just to get a mine sweeper and make use of this otherwise underwhelming commander.... The Hetzer a bit earlier, like 6 CP I think would make it more useful. |
