3v3 and 4v4 saw improvements as well. Axis still top, but the difference is no longer crushingly staggering. Interestingly enough, UKF spiked to highest winrate in 4v4 for today. Why?
UKF had about 30 games played, one single game will affect the winrate curve dramatically. As it is so few games played, the winrate curve will have extreme tops and downs.
Comparing it to OKW (>180 games played), that winrate curve will have much less extremes, but it's still few enough games for the winrate curve to fluctuate about 10% from day to day. You will get the most accurate statistics from the winrate over 1 week, but it's still flawed.
Calliope shoots much more then 16 rockets, most of them in the first barrage, they still do 80 dmg.
Katy also have huge scatter, which makes it 100% RNG tool while pwerfer annihilates whatever you shoot at.
I think I read somewhere that it was 24 rockets, about 10 in the first barrage? I haven't tested it or played against it, so I don't know how it performs. Still, 16 rockets are quite a bit more than 10, however, I don't know the AoE profiles and scatter for the rockets.
Adding suppression to katyusha will make it easier to punish blobs as they can't simply walk out of the barrage, which they can now, and therefore lower the RNG as more barrages will hit. That will punish slow reacting players, and at least force retreats.
Panzerwerfer is overperforming, doesn't warrant a possible overbuff for katyusha.
1.If all rockets were to be fired at once, it would probably need a huge damage nerf. I would like to see slight suppression added instead - it wouldn't affect its performance against static positions much (were it performs fine imo) but increase performance against blobbed infantry (were it performs poorly atm).
2. I like the idea, that someone posted, of putting some of the vet attributes to vet 0. It is beastly when vetted, but at the moment there is much better choices when considering the poor performance you get when you build it.
3. I think t-34/85 is performing fine. It shouldn't reliably penetrate panthers front armor, and Panzer IV ausf.j overperforms atm because of all the problems with OKW atm, such as teching costs, unit timing and the pop bug. That doesn't warrant a buff for t-34/85.
That would be a solution too of course. But I think it would be the easiest way to lower the damage multiplier of LEIG versus emplacement target_type. If you would make emplacements more resilent versus weapon_type of LEIG the Ostheer mortars would suck versus brit emplacements and you would have to change a lot of multipliers of all mortars.
I didn't post any solutions, just pointed out where the problem was . Not that I disagree with your suggestion, but that's more fitting in a UKF thread.
The only problem that I see: The completely destroy brit emplacement play if used as a pair (or more if there are more emplacements) in conjunction with the healing truck.
I'd say that's a problem with emplacements and not with the LEIG's if they are pretty much fine against everything else.
True . Anyway, there isn't any problems with incendiary grenades at all, the only issue is the death loop of team weapons if you happen to react slow on charging volks.
but if the brit sniper is actually supposed to counter vehicles, then what DOESN'T he counter? or whats supposed to counter him?
What he does or doesn't counter is irrelevant, both to the topic and to your argument. He simply have a double roles, while not excel in either of them.
but, alright, for the sake of the argument, let's take tommies vs. grens: comparable costs (tommies higher purchase cost, but lower reinforcement cost), yet tommies have way better vet, can get self healing upgrade (self healing for free after initial investment), can get nades, arty nades, have access to weapon racks (so different weapon combinations possible, as well as multiple upgrades), can get a 5 man upgrade, get boosted stats in cover... while having the same general role. but this, of course, is asymmetrical balance, because it fits the narrative, while the AEC is just underperforming. no hypocrisy here. amirite?
I agree that this comparison is better, although I don't agree with all the flavors you're attributing tommies and choose not to mention. But that is for another thread, I simply wanted to point out that your previous comparison regarding snipers and aec/puma was false, and I'm not really interested or have enough knowledge about AEC gameplay to join the discussion any deeper than this.
