From what I've heard, the ram ability is dodgeable, which imo makes it quite ok. I do agree, however, that it should only be available with vet 1. Furthermore, I think that heavy weapons, such as flamers and snipers, should only be able to fire out of a HT while it's stationary.
I also think that panzerfausts should only cause engine damage when the rear of a tank is hit and AT nades shouldn't be homing. Also, the animation should cancel if the target moves out of range, similarly to how it worked in coh1.
To launch with this list looming over the game is a tragedy.
No ladders
No chat lobby
No match history
No obs mode
No anti-cheat
No fixed positions for tournaments
No good maps
Yeah, what the hell is Relic thinking?
Leaving out such features at launch will definitely impact reviews, which, let's face it, are hugely important in determining sales.
It would be prudent of Sega to delay the game just for this features to be implemented at launch.
I feel that the consequence of a lack of target tables is starting to show: In the first Beta, atgs were too strong vs light armor, but adequet vs heavy armor and in the current beta, atgs are adequet vs light armor, but too weak vs anything heavier.
The biggest issue atm is that it will destroy the main gun AND the engine. So your stuck with a tank that can't move to safety, neither can it defend itself until pioneers arrive. Most broken ability in the game. Can't believe someone at Relic thought of this and said to himself: 'Yes, this is excellent' #facepalm
Although, according to Qvazar, it can be dodged, which will net the T-34 a damaged engine.
There should be a COH2.ORG skin for the UI That would actually be bad-ass.
This picture only makes me think one thing: Cluttered. The beautiful models and terrain are just littered with little bright bits of color. In the snow it's much worse, because everything is white with little bright bits of color. This picture doesn't even show the full extent of it, because there are no red and blue territory lines and capping circles.
I definitely agree; the game just looks inconsistent and very busy.
