If you don't like it, blame the engine developers with their engine limitation to 512x512 ground textures.
Fun fact: 7 years later, coh2 has the same
Seriously? And yet they manage to make coh2 runs poorly...
Also, that would explain why everything looks so blurry and lacking in detail (for 2013). |
And what about Rails&Metal and Duclair ??
Remake old maps is a rly good thing from relic!
I'm sure those will follow, but for now coh2 lacks good 1v1 maps more than it does 2v2s. |
If Sega has this numbers, relic should have no problem to implement serwer to the game instead of p2p.
True, but before Sega makes a move as costly as that, they need to know that it is profitable. They aren't just going to throw money at coh2. |
I've actually spent so much time changing faceplates since the patch went live that I haven't played any matches. I hope Relic adds more faceplates in the future, this is what the game needs to be a viable competitive RTS.
Good to know I'm not the only one... |
But the resolution is lower than that of the standard faceplate, which makes them look kinda cheap. |
What is meant by target weakpoint? |
yea, i think that all bulletins should be like - 50% increased range, 100% increased damage, 50% increased Health, cost reduced by 75%
+1, please post this suggestion on the official forums. |
@Basilone: It's different from person to person. I, for one, need my 60fps when I play multiplayer, but I know many that are completely fine with a constant 30fps.
Also, the human eye doesn't register anything above 60 fps, so all those nerds claiming that they need +100 are BSing. |
Weirdly enough, I have a very similar rig (hd6970, 4gb ram) and get 60fps (except during blizzards and heavy explosions) with all settings on max minus AA at 1920x1200.
I'm sure once the game is out and properly optimized, you can expect 60fps at near max settings. |
Seeing as Relic went to such great effort to simplify the internal workings of the game (straight damage and armour instead of target tables, for example), I wouldn't be surprised if it's actually impossible to set unit-specific upkeep values in the current engine. I don't think we'll ever see anything like CoH1's upkeep system in CoH2 because I don't think it's technically possible in the new, simplified engine.
I'm pretty sure he was referring to pop cap being determined by the amount of territory being held. |
