I will admit as well to being reluctant to play, there were more than a few suspicious games in the past which I wrote off as 'they were just that good'. They seemed to know all the movements even the unusual ones. Of course it could be all just perception and one high profile suspicion-turning-into-actual-case making us question everything. There were unpleasant aspects revealed by many and unfortunately this will leave a legacy of sorts, but hopefully it should fade fairly quickly in time. In: Lobby

Thread: Jäger Armor is still the same BS than before26 Mar 2021, 21:25 PM JT suffers from the fundamental lack of spotting scopes (limited to 35 sight range or firing into FoW at ppl testing its armor) and thus needs a spotter, hence its lower pick compared to Ele, even trying to factor in JP4 existing. It's extremely difficult to deal with when well supported, far more than Elefant, but that's to be expected. In: COH2 Balance

It will not be coming back if Relic/Balance team are remotely sane. Eg: Adding insult to injury, volkschreck blobs could effortlessly blow up your vehicles in the middle of blizzards whilst your inf huddled around weak fires. Thread: How OKW and Ostheer are different from each other26 Mar 2021, 10:51 AM My answer is obvious. A more favourable late game in exchange for weaker early/mid game. I never really liked the way you'd be locked into Panthers late game as OST if you didn't pick Ele. Even back in 2015 I had distaste for this strategy, back when ppl had 6 Panthers going around. With OKW you can match the Allied TD meta and actually defeat it TDs to TDs with better scaling ones of your own. Lost count of the number of matches where an opponent underestimates them. And of course, the real reason because I enjoy the adrenaline high way too much: In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Major Too overpriced25 Mar 2021, 20:17 PM On larger modes just give the Major two BARs and watch him vet up fast. Very quickly his (vetted) barrage/recon will be a serious problem if you can use him half decently. I find that people underestimate his usefulness. And he has a smoke iirc. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Should the SU85's vision ability be nerfed/removed24 Mar 2021, 14:48 PM There's a significant danger that you can get swiss cheesed by JP4s now, rather than gradually backing off if you see them at 75. 65 -> 60 range isn't far and after the SU-85 opens fire, the JP4 can fire back with FOW accuracy penalty. Elefant usually has spotting scopes and now can get first strike on you before you even know it's there. Before you could just spot and use AT guns to zone out TDs with little risk as you had sight on them at all times and they couldn't even hit the SU-85. Didn't matter whether it was with AT guns or Elefant (loses sight bonus instantly on moving) or JP4s. tl;dr: Seems fine to me now. In: COH2 Balance
