+1 pretty much Brits are unplayable right now.
Against decent axis player I see no way you survive long enough to get to the centuar and when you do its counters are already there or you've lost soo much map control
If Brits were unplayable realistically, they would not have won any games in OCF or have a higher win ratio than both Axis factions.
They have their problems but they are in no way unplayable. I would possibly even argue they are fine but are overshadowed by how well soviets/usf are doing at the moment.
Also considering the centaur plays vs really good opponents that worked in OCF and has worked with top players vs top players, the problem of surviving that long lies with you, not the brits.
I mean for sure they are not even close to as OP as most people make it out to be, but they are a good faction that can beat both OKW and OST. If you think they are unplayable, the problem lies with you not the faction. Stop posting in balance 24/7 and try posting in state office and try to get better. |

So ISG needs a nerf because it kills units without you having to do anything.
Emplacements need a buff so it can kill units without you having to do anything.
I know that's out of content but it seems odd to complain about ISG requiring little micro and getting kills while also wanting something that requires little micro and gets kills to become more valid.
Personally I just think emplacements are a boring game play mechanic. If they are strong, balanced or not they are boring to play against and using them is just as boring. Would rather just see brit mortar removed and replaced with a similar but mobile unit. |
Not really a fair comparison. A ostheer player who rushes a ostwind will have grenades and LMGs for his grens. A brit doing the same won't have grenades or upgrades.

However not a single axis player is accustomed to facing tanks that don't instantly blow up to 2 paks or 3-4 shreckvolks. Fighting against brit armor feels pretty much the same as fighting againt ost armor
Yeah because no axis player has come against any IS or KV8 (before it was bad) or anything similar. I will admit there are similarities but when a tank can run into a pak wall + elephant take hits, survive that then survive a follow up push with a panther, it gets to a point where it seems pretty stupid that heavy AT does not counter tanks.
I feel like the biggest problem with Brits at the moment is that they are often like Magicarp, you can beat them as Magicarp but if you don't and they evolve to Gyarados, you can often just pretty much be screwed against them.
This being said, one of the biggest problems that isn't actually balance is the bug with mines randomly not working on Brit tanks, that can actually be pretty game changing.

micro them like you're smoking weed whereas axis dont need to micro that much (just click a few buttons and BOOM! no more allied units). does anyone find that a bit unfair? not to mention unrewarding?
Why does anyone even respond to posts like this, try playing the other factions for a change, get to the top 100 then tell me how micro is.

Make brits even viable before you need to nerf everything. They need a counter to leig
Well I mean its pretty obvious this is more to do with vickers/commander bans, plus USF and soviets being so potent.
I mean have you seen the allied win ratio in OCF? Before making Brits viable, make at least one axis faction viable, even in 1v1 currently Brits while weak to ost are beating OKW and have a higher win ratio than both axis (This could be for numerous reasons though).
Leig spam is god damn annoying, but when OKW are losing more than any other faction, it's not so much a problem.
Also while Brits need an early game buff, they have to be careful with this as currently if Brits make it to late mid game then it can often just pretty much mean gg. If Brits had a really potent early game, then axis who are already in a bad spot, would pretty much just get wiped out by Brits. |
I don't think its so much a problem with grens being weak but more the difference in how you use your early game units.
Cons for example despite being weak, its very effective just spamming them, spreading them out everywhere and oorah flanking and such. With USF either that or blobbing can be very effective. Also in general because you want them up close, its very easy to set up situations where you just overwhelm grens.
Whereas I feel with grens to be effective, you need to use combined arms and constantly try and keep them at max range. So its not so much the micro that is harder, more having to use a multitude of things to make them effective. |

People are willing to throw away money, players are lowering their standards and will buy anything and everything, when they have a feeling that extra money will help them win, they will go for it.
CoH2 isn't an exception here, we can either take what content they give us or quit gaming at all, because we won't change masses literally throwing money at shitty games and supporting shitty monetization decisions with their own wallets.
Yeah this is pretty much spot on.
I can even admit I am part of the problem, after 100's of hours on no commander drops, even I have caved in to buy commanders I really wanted to use.
