we need more decals currently most of the other decal stuff is being made by modders which only appear in custom matches and that is a big shame |

Just think about it ... We're playing on the Eastern Front mostly. Most maps have snow... Remember Stalingrad? It was cold as hell.
What about a EXTREMELY REALISTIC feature, that your units can freeze to death and blizzards occur randomly stealing your vision for some minutes? Every unit would also move very slowly so that both sides had to sit out the storm until the weather gets better!

I liked this game too, I've played several multiplayer games on it. Also the game was particulary beautiful when it was released.
Maybe no faction had an advantage over the other one, but there were cleary no differences between Soviets and US/Nato units ... All the units were the same, which is cleary not a good point for me. That's not what I call balance. Thus it became clear that the game had a quite poor gameplay depth in the end, in spite of some innovative ideas like the fact that each player had to pick a role to get a significant price decrease on some units, or some funny ones like the nukes (which were useless most of the time but gave eyeful).
Games with different factions having different units and playstyles are much more interesting to play, like COH or Starcraft.
And, honestly, there a no major balances issues on COH 2. Actually, what is really broken ? The calliope ? It might be a bit strong, but nothing that can't be handle. When it will be fixed, there will be something else to complain about. When COH 2 was released, it was Wehrmacht's flame half-track, then grenade launcher, then LGM42s+G43s, then Flak-half track when OKW was released ... It never ends.
It is exactly like Starcraft II : everyone whines about things being broken (mines, oracles, hellbat, storms ...) despite the game is well balanced in overall and these things are quickly nerfed.
So I think that WiC deserved its poor popularity. Copying and pasting units for every factions is not enough to make a good multiplayer RTS, especially when there are only two factions ...
if i recall nobody complained about the balance of WiC during matches everything was the same massive didnt play favorites so i say its good that all units were the symmetrical that way its fair and its level playing field for all |
Lel, native language? I guess, its much important right now to fix billions of bugs, optimization and unstabile balance? And they cannt handle even with this high priority tasks. Native lang? Spare me, pls.
bug fixing and patches is a forever war without end you'd be dumb enough to not realize that. so i say native language shud go in first since its a one-time deal implementation. |

really? it doesnt take an idiot to realize when something like is going to happen (native language or no) and than pressing the space key to find out what it is plus with today's technology u can upgrade ur memory storage to 1 TB. failing that u can always buy a new computer it's cheaper that way if u hav money.

There is no recording or programming involved. All they have to do is pick right voice lines (some community members would love to do it for them for free, including me), combine it all in a language pack with english text and push to steam servers as new language so whoever desires could download it. Thats it, on relic side its no more than half a day of work for one employee.
Not to mention how much advertising they can add to it. If they made ad about game breaking pathing change they definitely can do one about language pack and gain money from it.
my point exactly so far relic is more focused on patching and bug fixing that can go on til relic is bankrupt. they shud focus on native language first before they do anything else. i tell u patching and bug fixing is a forever war. |
