I think it was increased from 16 to 18 initially, but afterwards to 20, almost directly following CaptainSprice losing to AshaBlois in some tourney. Sprice only had Schrecks and Stugs and slowly got suffocated by triple Churchills. IMO Price played that match wrong and the additional pop nerf was not justified. There's no longer a tech cost required for the Puma, this frees up 90 fuel, which allows you to spam light vehicles like no tomorrow. You have to play this doctrine with a very aggressive army composition like 1 FHT + 444 + Puma, this is how DevM and VonIvan used to use the doctrine and it's quite micro intensive, but also one of the few ways to force a really early win with Ostheer. You'Il also earn the CP's quite fast. Looking at current replays does not highlight the potential of next patch techless Puma. In: COH2 Balance

I think target size becomes the same as the infantry manning it instead of the target size of the trench itself, making it extremely hard to hit. XD Not really a pridepost, it was a good game. Thought I’d share it for the lolz. I will say this: your first time playing this doc is light years ahead of me trying to play Mech USF and much better than a bunch of other USF guys I’ve seen. Also I saw your Nexus game earlier and I agree with that build compared to the Sherman 76s you built here. Keep it up, your usf is excellent. Yeah, I got really inspired by a TwistedTootsy match so decided to log in on my main account and give it a whirl. Only played Tactical Support commander before this with USF, but Mechanized has much of the same utility while also providing allot more lategame tools (mostly Dozer Shermans, good CQC infantry and Combined Arms). Tootsy is a god with this doctrine and uses every single ability on it consistently, so I tried to do the same. I felt a bit cancerous though at some points, especially with the WC51. I tried to do Sherman rush, but cause I didn't really turn my manpower into something useful got cut-off by you, so the Sherman was late anyway. If I'd do a no-LV build again in the future, I'd probably go double Officer build with .50 Cal(s). In: Replays
