I'm guessing many of us have not yet spotted and gotten used to the many specific details that make a solid, efficient strategy. So keep calm and spam games... +1 For someone who wasn't in the Alpha it took me a few games to get a feel for how to handle Tommies and to realize that trying to run them like Soviet Con-spam was a bad idea lol That, and I'm pretty sure that Target Tables aren't active in the Free Trial and can potentially affect quite a few units (Ost. Sniper vs. Tommies comes to mind especially) Naturally there will be a few tweaks in the coming months as I was really underwhelmed by the 25 Pounder Accuracy and PIATS particularly and wouldn't be surprised if the AVRE and Commando get toned down a bit but everything is still super new and almost everyone is still in that knee-jerk reaction stage but that's just my 2 cents. I'd wager no... if I understand correctly this will just mean the the shells fall faster after each other (meaning that the "rapid" part will be more true) but it'll still have the same kinda meh scatter and be overpriced for its performance compared to other call-in Arty. On a side note, its nice to see Relic has its priorities straight by buffing USF Medics DPS; dem Grens are going to get a nasty surprise if they go after an Ambulance. Constant "Okay I'm gonna place a mortar pit next... crap need to reinforce a Tommy Squad... maybe in 2 minutes... crap reinforce again". Thread: Swap T-34/76 with 85? 31 Aug 2015, 14:59 PM I kind of like the idea of cheap 76s, fits with the Sov. theme of "Win by numbers" and if you tech to T4 fast enough it can be pretty fun to get a quick armor numbers advantage. Course if its a 50/50 match or the game drags on they scale like crap and SU-76s are so damn cost effective that T34/76s are very situational at best. They'd be better if they tweaked the Veterancy a bit and swapped out some of the Reload speed with either scatter decrease or penetration increase so that they can, you know, actually deal with Vetted/Heavy Armor somewhat more reliably. Thanks... I had Gold Score and all 3 Companies were alive at the end for me so I was kind of perplexed as to why nothing was showing up. I think its safe to assume that AA was free but no free Warspoils :/ In: Lobby
Thread: Mortar in the Hole29 Aug 2015, 03:47 AM Not sure if this is a serious thread or not but I'm pretty sure in the Sept 3rd patch notes they said that Mortar teams can no longer be placed in trenches- so I think it's a conscious design on Relic's part.
